I think it was not only a poor decision to release IdrA, but also an unwise business proposition. People need to be reminded that there are actual players behind the monitor.

I wish both EG and Idra the best. I'll still follow EG and hopefully idra. If he wants the opportunity another team will pick him up.

They probably had a contract and it is cancelled by his release which means he gets some sort of compensation for them breaking the contract. Obviously I'm speculating but I believe that is how it works.

People almost tuned in just to make hate messages about him and calls him crap. GL idra and have a good future. You said it! This is all extremely true.

I'm also done responding to you for now, because your method of debate is obnoxious. Sry but i just used your OWN words, i didnt make any assumtions. You said it yourself, god damn it. You said you enjoy an angry mob throwing torches at people you dont like. How the fuck does it not prove my point i said over 1 year ago and am still saying now. There is also a difference between "not supporting" somebody and actively bringing them down. If you dont support anyone because you dont like them, feel free to not open their stream or anything related to them, instead of grabbing your pitchforks because you enjoy drama so much. I m not defending a particular player i m against the witchhunting of the community itself as i said a million times. I would even defend players i dislike a lot if this occurs. And i dont give a fuck if a player cares about me as long as i m entertained. And i dont give a fuck about people not supporting players they dont like, but i give a fuck when people like you are just sharpening their pitchforks and hoping that the next witchhunt is happening soon. You dont have any reasoning at all, to sum up your point of view "it is ok to throw torches at people i dont like because i m right and you are dumb." lol

In the meantime, good going. A difficult move, to be sure, but one can't allow one's business to be held hostage by one rogue personality.

However it was painful to see how badly you treat people, in games, stream chat and on TL. Your whole attitude exudes your dislike for people. As much as I enjoy SC as my past-time, ultimately there is nothing more important in this life than how you treat other people. Hopefully you will grow up someday and realize this. As for EG, they will survive and thrive. They have other great and popular players like Stephano, JD, DeMu and others. Alex seems to be a savvy CEO. I think this was the straw that broke the camels back (so to say) and it was the right decision. Thats my 2 cents.

You know, so the people who are actually passionate about SC2 can discuss it without you mouth-breathing morons creaming yourselves over the most recent twitter controversy caused by some irrelevant, washed up foreigner who never actually accomplished anything of note. Good job EG, you have plenty of money and you'll survive getting rid of this guy. Nothing of value was lost after all.

Also his results have been extremely lacking lately and he probably isn't performing in-game to match his huge salary.
