JP looks pissed. :o It has been awhile since I've seen him this pissed. Also, idrA thinks anyone who isn't a fan is a f*ck and should get out of the community. So much for that apology.

The Highlights: 1. Idra will not be continuing as a competitive player. This decision was made before* his release from EG. 2. Idra doesn't really want anyone sodomized with a tire iron or get cancer. 3. Idra has never been fined more than $500. for anything he has ever said/done. 4. Idra apologizes to his personal fans and all the fans of e-sports. He does not think we are all a bunch of [expletive]. 5. He stands by the decision to leave the game vs Polt on Daybreak. "Terran air is better than Zerg." 6. Idra believes the amount of money EG was paying him was a "bad business decision" for EG. "It was a very lucrative contract, and I don't think I was worth that much." 7. "Demuslim and I don't particularly like each other" 8. Idra will be focusing on casting and community content in the future. 9. EG has offered to pay Idra's rent for the duration of his current lease. 10. EG was pressured by sponsors to release Idra. 11."Mechanically, LoL is very casual, but I did underestimate the complexity of it. I play it (LoL) and I do enjoy it. If the community wants it, I will stream myself playing LoL." 12. Idra will NOT be leaving E-Sports.

I am glad he quit progaming, he wasn't going to accomplish anything anymore anyways with that attitude. It is clear from the interview he does not trully understand what happened and why it happened. Hmmm I think he was very in touch with why it happened, he even said he probably would have fired himself a long time ago :/

When casuals enter a stream of a famous person, love or hate, they don't care, they just want to have a good time, they have expectations. There will always be more casual fans than there are die hard fans, more people who'll drop in because you're funny/rude/cool/etc. When you tell the people who *may* buy a product of your sponsor that they are stupid fucks and that you are paid to tell them they are stupid fucks, you just cut down your own audience by 80%. Proven after 80 years of American advertising/marketing industry's experience in viewer statistics. Edit: On average, 20% of any sector will be dedicated and excel in their field, this includes fan base. For every one guy that comes up to you asking for a picture or autograph, there's four others that couldn't make it, because it was too far, too late, too busy, etc insert excuse here. That's why day[9] is always so humble and grateful for his fans. He knows the numbers. He has a masters in interactive media, which covers marketing statistics / business intelligence.

May as well just work in e-sports and make money that way, it's not that bad. I mean, take a White-Ra for example, he's not a competitive player anymore, but still popular, doing lots of showmatches and stuff like that.

There a lot of people who hate Idra with the fire of a nova and love to watch him fail. He is never going to apologize to those people, ever. And no reasonable person is every going to get upset about Idra not issuing a blanket apology.
