Would be so good for both him and the scene.
Or he's just putting on a show to attract some bigtime sponsors.

There's at most a few hundred trolls in there, and the rest are there to watch him play. Granted some of the people there to watch him play are the same people who slow down to look at a car accident, but to say that his stream is 80% trolls is simply a ludicrous notion.
Exactly bunch of those people would'a left after two times he got ddossed/router couldn't handle 14k as both times it went down at 14'000 viewers. It's now back up to 10k watching.

How about the fact he typically gets ~5k viewers recently, and is currently at more than double that. You think he has more than double because suddenly he has an extra 5k fans? Or because an extra 5k people want to see if he does something stupid again? And it's fairly certain that some of the 5000 people who watch him regularly are trolls. He peaked at like 15k.
15k-5k = 10k. 10k/15k = 66% non-regular viewers. Probable non-fans. Not watching to see him play, but watching to see him rage, or see if he says anything about what's happened. They may not be "trolls", but they are only watching for drama.

You are a troll.
It's called publicity, doesn't mean they are only watching "for drama".
And IdrA pretty much always have 9k and more viewers when he comment while streaming, what he doesn't do all the time. And he is doing that right now, so your entire post is pretty much invalid and dumb.

I find it funny how his stream chat on twitch is now flooded with supportive messages when while he was on EG, it was filled with hate and calling him trash and whatnot. Rather strange.... Either way, looking forward to the Real Talk to see what he plans to do since he is staying with SC2 at least for awhile more.

I don't think ppl are expecting BM more than usual, but they are interested to hear IdrA's comments about what happened. Just like everybody is always interested in what someone involved in a relevant story has to say about it.

Yep. People are morbid. Not saying all the people who are watching him are because of that, but his high numbers todays, when there are games going on, is mostly because of that reason.

Hope for change, this is the best opportunity yet, I think a lot of people, fans and those that stopped being his fans, want to see the old Idra back. The one we got a glimpse of during the first half of his game vs Polt where even the casters spoke of how refreshing it was to see this Idra playing, then sadly..

My guess is that either IdrA stop playing professionaly and live off streaming while going back to school (cooking school?) or he actually want to keep playing SC2 professionaly and realise that he loves that game for real and get recruted back into EG after a month or so break.
In the end, it will all depend on him and what HE wants to do, what is completly fine.

All the EG guys are devasted that Idra has to leave the team. I feel sorry for them. However I also wonder how often their transfer policy has made the players of other teams feel like they feel right now.

How was this person trolling? I don't think you know what a "troll" is.
Regardless, Idra's viewership went up BECAUSE of this debacle. A 200 page thread on TL can do that. Just give it time, and it will normalize again. Unless he has a series of unfortunate events planned out, I don't think 15k viewership can be maintained by any measure.

Idra gets fired, his first stream back has 12k. 3-4x what he usually pulls in these last few weeks. Incontrol called it again. But is there a team out there to take the chance?

I'm going to second this. All of the people talking about Demuslim having 10k while Idra only has 3-5k; every time in the past two weeks I've compared they're roughly even. Idra has pretty consistently been hitting 8-10k viewers as long as he's commentating.
I don't know where the 3-5k number came from. I'm sure it happens a few times, but not as often as people think.

Looks like the Gracken has been. . . released.

Actually, I think this event is pretty good. We need things to shake up ESPORTS.
