If he could get on a team that won't pay and tolerate as much EG did, he can give it his all again. Even if he can't love the game, he can be driven by the competition, his personal goals and struggle and be a practice machine again.

But, this is a game of will power, not just skill. If every time a game doesn't go perfect you quit, you're going to have a hard time making a career. It's fine to quit games in practice, but in a tournament it just proves there are some major psychological issues. Back this up with his behavior and it's more obvious. Ladder rank? Did you say that as a joke? In my mind pretty much any korean whose name is even barely known could dispatch idra 9-0 in a 9 series without hardly even trying. I'm not trying to bm just calling it like I see it, I think everyone in this thread but the hardcore fanboys agree he was only even an "asset" to his team in the sense of drawing viewers, he couldn't put up competitively. Even DeMuslim who is a great guy and good player, much better than idra and ahead of him in NA ladder just lost 16-0 to byun recently... and it wasnt like he was exploiting the same thing over and over, he was mixing it up doing all sort of stuff. And Byun is just one amongst many top koreans, the skill gap between him and demu is already huge, the skill gap between demu and idra is also gigantic so yea whatever. In my mind theres many players in NA who could compete with idra and even beat him with ease who aren't necessarily top in ladder. It doesn't mean that much honestly.

if idra leaves games early cause he realizes he lost it's his thing and not yours also if you get offended by him you should consider yourself a bit emotional and tbh being "friendly" is almost always a facade in the public. good examples are shop assistans, they have to be nice or else they get fired, doesn't matter if he hates you, he must be friendly but in the end only the opinion in his mind counts. just because you fake your friendlyness doesn't make you friendly at all lol. And idra is at least a honest person when it comes to that.

That's such a sweeping statement to make. You are literally guessing (from ZERO legitimate data) that most of the SC community are "fucks" (which again; what does being a "fuck" mean?).

Good move by EG IMO. It's been 3 years of IdrA being angry as hell about everything and nothing, and recently he's not been getting results too. I think the only fairly 'recent' decent performance was his WCS group stage performance? EG seem to be offing their other 'underachieving' players so yeah... If there was a final 'nail' in the coffin so to speak, that pushed EG over the edge, then fair do's tbh.

He didn't even say the starcraft community was, it was in response to a guy being a dick to him and he said something along the lines of "you're a bunch of fucks etc.(I get paid to do this blah blah can't be bothered finding the picture)" the You could be interpreted various ways 1) People like the person being rude 2) The general community People see it as relating to #2 and that's why a lot of people are up in arms about it, it probably was related to the first group though, considering it was in response to a rude dude, but it's over now and no one will really know what he wanted to say unless he releases the info himself.

So basically stating that this is the opinion of whole EG towards the community. Probably didn't think it would be any big, because it was posted in a nonsense thread. I am most sad for the OP of that thread though, he must feel horrible about the outcome of his thread.

In the end, he gg'd out after having his army wiped out by awesome colossi kiting micro by his opponent. Don't get me wrong, back in his prime, I loved him for the smartass punk that he was. Lately he was sounding like a drunken hasbeen. I'm curious, how so is Andre Agassi analogy way off? Agassi was never as BM as Idra. I think you meant Mcenroe.

I've always liked IdrA and I only want good things for him. I have no idea what his long term goals are so I can't do anything more than vaguely wish him well but, I wish him well.

He made it to top general reddit, he made it to top twitter, and in reddit/starcraft he had almost the whole front page full of different threads about him. SotG had more viewers than WCS running at the same time. Madness? This is IdrA.
