Gonna follow him whatever team he goes. One of the few in this community who always speaks his mind.
I even laughed at his last post as a member of EG, maybe I just like that dark type of humor. Many considered it very rude, even rewarding a ban here, but it was also 100% the truth
How incontrol had to hear this though, as a teamcaptain totally left out of the decision, live in a talkshow, that was really rude.

This might actually be beneficial for Idra, since it forces him to think about his situation and hopefully helps him make up his mind about what he wants to do in life. I don't think being a progamer suits him at this point

When 3 days ago Idra said to one of his fans: "nope, you're all a bunch of fucks, it just so happens that I get paid to treat you like it. It's fucking awesome." I thought to myself, that professional SC2 if full of shit, that this is just sick beyond any reasonable limits.
Basically this decision saves the face of professional SC2.

This is a good business decision by EG. Idra tarnished EG's reputation for many years and result wise he hasn't performed for a long time either.

Im waiting for a news to hit in 2-4 weeks that Idra has joined the Alliance.

Lol? He didn't mean that as a joke, Pretty sure he was 100% serious.

I would respect Idra for always speaking his mind, if it weren't for the fact that the guy could never admit being worse player or playing bad. Always balance or cheese or some other shit

Probably already been posted day 9 comments on the news>>>>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs1Ji1Z7LKw

It's absurd that premier teams base their roster decision on what players say in internet forums, instead of their actual results.
I am not against EG firing IdrA, becuase results-wise he more than deserves it, but the justification given is just stupid. But I guess that is the result of the current trend in the society in general, when all people care about is that everyone speaks only in politically correct terms.
Fuck. Nigger. Faggot.

Idra was the reason why Eg is what they are today. The decision to fire idra is really odd considering how much money the must have spent for marketing idra as their face. I wonder what they do with all the left over shirts and stuff that is branded idra. Eg without Idra is just some random team and incontrol.

Alliance is like a pure swedish team. You may not have gotten that impression from the SC2 side but that's what it is.
It's not surprising tbh. He doesn't get good results so it gets easier and easier for EG to lose their patience with an outburst

If he said what he said in politically correct terms and with more politeness it would be worse. It would add additional arrogance and would look more like an official EG stance.
The depth of your edginess is astounding. Show those Libs Merica'

But thanks for your thought through post. It really helped to enforce his point that didnt make any sense to begin with as it lacks pratical usage. In theory all of those fantastic static defense theories work. In pratice they hardly do. All the can do is delay the terran. And if your army is engaging elswhere or has to defend versus the mian army, your base will fall, no matter how much defense you put there=) The one who gets dropped should be able to use as many units for defense as the one who drops uses in his drops? And with static defenses, he should have the time to split the units away from his main army? Alternatively, if there are many drops going on at once, maybe attack, since the one who drops now lacks 10-20-30 supply from his main army?
To sum it up: the one who drops doesn't magically gain 10 supply extra.

Its just EG saying, no Idra, we do not pay you for treating the community like "a bunch of fucks", youre wrong.

not sure if you can say that :| may get yourself a ban lol.
but I get what you're saying, political correctness is madness, freedom of speech is a thing of the past. But for a guy one a team to go against everything his team is pushing for time and time again, it's no surprise EG kicked him off the roster.

Teamliquid and EG have always been the most rooted for and have the most fans i would say out of every foreign team, im pretty sure EG will do fine since their roster is pretty stacked now as to before, im just wondering where idra will go from here. I don't really think another team will put up with his shenanigans as much as EG did, and i can't really see idra changing his attitude to do so.
I feel hes about to just let all his fans down again by leaving the sc scene and esports completely...
