You'll be going back to 2011. He's irrelevant. Remember guys like fruitdealer? And DRG? Who dominated the scene at one point? They've disappeared too. Nobody is integral to the sc2 scene. New talent will show up and old faded talent will disappear.

Profound truth? Not particularly. He basically said its an entertainment business and the reality of the situation is people shouldn't hold it against him that he gets more publicity/viewers than players who are posting better results. Sc2 viewers are extremely fickle, and having a character is basically the only way to be consistently relevant to the scene. Is it dumping on fans? I guess so, but ultimately it's true, so if people take that as an insult maybe instead of shitting on IdrA for telling the truth they should reflect on their own behavious and choices when deciding which players o watch/support.

And I never troll him. Are you Idra posting on a different account? Regardless of who you are, as Sundance would say: you just don't "get it". You are a liar, you have contributed in the past and you are contributing now making him ever more popular.

Now get all this "personalities" out of Esport who doesnt work their ass off... Firing IdrA is a good start. It was and it will ALWAYS be hardcore to survive in such a short term business. Thats why i love players/casters etc who are running miles every single day and work on their skills daily. At least...show some respect and love to the people who make it all possible. I am not talking about "faceless" Players...but there is no need to act like IdrA. Next up..:Stephano please...for last couple of months i only see him shirtless and drunk on every Event. Give Incontrol more morey instead...he is not an hardcore player...but it seems like he is putting such much effort into this Esport thing.

Hopefully he finds something that he loves doing and if it continues to be Starcraft, good luck finding another team, Greg!!

All the best to both parties involved!

On one hand, everybody preaches about how e-sports has to become "professional" and "well-respected". Isn't that the main reason why people wanted to kill Destiny every single time he did something, why players like Stephano got a lot of crap for stuff he said/did, why cheaters/hackers always get the axe, and why Orb got himself into deep shit? On the other hand, you have a guy like IdrA, who is lionized by certain members of the foreigner community to be an upstanding person. I'm confused.
