I've had almost exactly the same FPL team since the first FPL season for this Proleague. So fun watching the players develop and fail. we aren't the best team, but we stick together no matter what. ^^ That said, havign had Innovation on my anti-team since forever kind of sucks. T_T

I know those feels. My first attempt at FPL resulted in a hastily assembled anti-team of Effort, Roro, and Soulkey. Ya, I had about quadruple my positive gains into the red that round.

This is a tough round. I feel, like there are almost no over/underrated players this time. Also all-kill format, will be about luck it seems. i would not be surprised if someone with ALL SKT or ALL WJS teams will win it all.

Here is a team where every player is a starter

Innovation - 8
Hydra - 5
Bbyong - 4
Zest - 6
Cure - 3
Brown - 3
T8 - 1

I think all except Hydra are favored to win the starting match. Hydra vs Jangbi is pretty close, Jangbi is ever favored I'd say since Hydra isn't playing well. So maybe swap for another player there. I'd say this is a fairly solid team if you want to guarantee all your players to play. I'd say all of them are regular core members of their teams except maybe Brown who has shown tons of promise and got a lot of play last round, so even if they weren't all starting they'd all see regular play.

IMO given the starters this is probably the safest main team composition you can get for this FPL round. And you can still build a really solid team by keeping 3-4 out of those players and swap the others around for someone you like.

I'm personally running Trust/Roro/sOs instead of Hydra/Bbyong/Zest here. taking the gamble on CJ playing Trust over Bong occasionally in order to get the super solid Roro over hydra/effort who are both 5 pts. Zest vs sOs is a bit meh switch on my part. Zest can do really well in AK format but KT has strong opponents this week so I don't think he'll get super streaky, sOs is a more solid long term pick for the round.

I think all-kill is about spreading your picks out on most/all teams. But don't take my word for it because I apparently suck at it (I really dislike AK for fantasy).

Could you clarify that last paragraph mighty Bamboo?

Also, I too picked a full starting team:

Just for Starters

Main Team
4 - [image loading] Bbyong
3 - [image loading] Brown
6 - [image loading] JangBi
2 - [image loading] Mekia(fOKINS)
6 - [image loading] Stats (captain)
6 - [image loading] Zest(P7GAB)
3 - Team KT Rolster

Anti Team
4 - [image loading] Hydra
3 - [image loading] soO
6 - [image loading] TaeJa

I guess I can see how your team would be better as it doesn't have the clash of Bbyong and Mekia. On the other hand, I would think that if they're running a starter like Mekia then he almost has to be worth more than the 2 points he's valued at, isn't he? Plus, you mentioned Hydra isn't favored in his match, so it would seem to me like Mekia is a fairly decent pick to fulfill the zerg requirement.

Of course, I'm a bit of a noob compared to you, so if you could comment I'd really appreciate it.

Edit: Wait... fuck Hydra is 11-4 vs Protoss.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

I just tried to pick up the ace players for as many teams as I could as well as a couple starers this week. Innovation and Jangbi are going to be sent out for their teams as both stx and samsung will rarely completely roll over their opponents. I'm not too sure of puzzle, but I figured he was pretty good on slayers, and KT picked him up for a reason. Hopefully he can take a regular spot in the rotation. Skt is pretty stacked right now and always a solid pick for team;pluz I had 4 points left after picking the team.

On anti, I just don't expect any of them to play all that much. Taeja has the possibility of destroying me, but he already destroyed team when I had him on my main, so why not.

Mekia vs Bbyong is a bit of a gamble match. Bbyong should be favored, but I personally don't really like his play. Bbyong plays mostly very thin timing attacks that seems to barely edge out the win, at least in TvP anyway. I'm not too familiar with his TvZ so it's hard to say. Mekia hasn't done too well in the past but it's been a while since he's field in PL, so maybe he's better now. The problem is if Mekia loses there will be very little option to trade him away because he's worth only 2, and unlikely he'll get sent out again in AK format. Slightly good news with WJS should do well so you'll just collect +1 team wins. I don't know, I don't really like any of the 2 value players so meh.

Stats has a really hard match vs Soulkey, arguably top 3 zergs right now along side Life and Roro. It's possible for him to win, but it's too risky IMO for a 6 point investment. And even if he's maybe 50/50 chance against any number of strong WJS score members like sOs and light, so it's unlikely that Stats starting spot will pay off.

Hydra is 11-4 vs protoss in WoL, not HoTS. He did beat Parting last round though. but just lost to Avenge 1-2 in code A. Jangbi just beat Byul 2-1 in code A. I'd say Jangbi is still favored.

This is my current team - I swapped T8 for CJ, didn't see CJ was 1, not 2.

Should we be concerned that we are not able to see the players we picked on our own team like it used to be?

So if I've gotten this right, there's a Bunny who's on CJ and the Bunny in Europe? Who are both in Code A? Sounds like a potential source of confusion.

Also, there's a post your team thread, use that one not this one to post teams!

I don't like it either. I'm just hoping ZerO won't see as much play due to WJS having such a deep roster. Honestly I don't like my other 5 point options either. Crazy has done surprisingly well, although with KT getting Puzzle, Crazy might not play much but KT doesn't have good zerg choices outside of Crazy and Hitman.

Even classic, he did really well last round, STX's core is Innovation/Dear/Trap, and normally hyvaa for 4th but he's yet to do really well so classic/mini could easily round out their roster. I'm not sure why Last hasn't been field more recently.

All the 6+ pointers are super dangerous IMO so it's hard to anti any of them. If we had more news about Taeja's condition maybe I'd put him on the anti, but otherwise it's pretty dangerous as Taeja could easily carry EGTL on a few matches. The anti is pretty hard this round so, meh. We'll see.
