Why isn't Taeja playing this week?

Flash vs Fantasy first game of the round, kaboom.
honestly this lineup for KT vs SKT reminds me of R3 of the 10-11 season.
|
herO vs HerO!
Also I think you got the wrong classic. STX Classic plays T unless he switched race.
edit: Oh he did switch races.
|
|
Anyone else just instantly search for Bear?
Guess I'll disappointedly look at the rest of the matches now...
EDIT: Also. It's Parting time.
|
Bisu!
Killer lineup with lots of good matches. The return of Bisu, herO vs HerO, Flash vs anyone, and so on. I am pumped!
|
Damn Bisu in all lineups :D cant wait <3 ( Have him on my FPL!!)
|
The map name "Newkirk Redevelopment Precinct" sure rolls of the tongue, doesn't it?
|
Looks like we will get more and more PvP in the future

Return of Bisu? Wow
Makes sense to get him as a 2 pointer, probably
|
HERO VS HERO!
I have been waiting so long for this match to happen.
|
If SKT - KT goes 3-3 Parting vs Flash rematch is a possibility with Parting winning a revenge

Wow BISU is finally BACKKKKKKKKKK
|
Fuck yeah PartinG is back!
|
|
Jaedong got Protoss again twice... ouch... But I guess that was inevitable, there's so much Protoss in these line ups.
|
So it looks like Team 8 and Stars are only playing once this week. Has it always been this way? I thought all teams played twice per week.
|
bisu is playing. bisu can win. bisu is 2 points. literally all i'm thinking about right now.
|
Return of Bisu!!
Excited to see Oz, and hopefully see aLive and Parting play.
|
Please, SC2 god, allow Bisu to do well. Jaedong, also. Flash is doing just fine, though. XD Let them dominate! Cool to see EG-TL's new pickup, Alive, play, too. :D
Can not wait to see games on the new maps! I do not care how imbalanced they may seem to some people. >_<
|
Flash vs Fantasy, and then Fantasy vs Jangbi. o_o
Going to be good!

Yay huk is in !

It was noted in the initial post the other day that WJS vs T8 appears to be missing. But we've no word on it as far as I know.
A shame because I'd totally go WJS as my team...but one game? Hmmmm

Bisu in Action.

I suspect the change might be because there are WCS Korea/GSL matches on Tuesday and they want to minimise the possibility of clashing with it in the new 'everyone gets along' regime.

I assumed that was more because of the state of Terran at the end of WoL.
|
So I guess S2 gets the shaft for the Return of the Revolutionist. I wonder if it's a state-of-balance thing, or if SKT believe in Bisu again? Boxer said toward the end of WoL that Bisu was making good progress in HotS and should probably be in the lineup soon. I assumed he was trying to string along the fanboys, but it appears he may have been telling the truth.
hero vs. hero has been about six months in the making.

No, people talk about " kespa Terrans " like there's 40 of them or something but It's basically only Bogus and Flash as the very good ones.

Curious how Terran, the most mechanically demanding race, is the least represented from supposedly mechanically superior players.

He said in an interview (IIRC, might be fanboy speaking) that SKT T1 needed a core player to begin practicing early, and since he wasn't excelling in WOL, he might as well be the one to do that.

Loving these lineups, some ridiculously WTF SICK GOOD matchups. Jangbi vs Fantasy, HerO vs Soulkey/herO, Parting vs Stork, Bisu playing FUCK YEA, Flash vs Fantasy, .... When did you start practising Heart of the Swarm?
1-2 weeks before the third round of SPL ended. Even though some pro-gamers have already started practising at that time, these weren't core players, and I didn't feel anything even if I beat them. When I play ladder recently, everyone's really good now (laughs).

So i suppose its official now and Taeja retires?
Man, i wish we had more information and interview on / with players :-( Seems weird to see Taeja go allkill on root and then not even be in a lineup for the first 2 matches.

Naturally its not -_- was merely a figure of speech, about me being upset that one of my favourite players is not in the lineups again, like in round of 3. With no "real" sportscenter to feed me information or rumors. He cant be in such a bad shape too, after watching him in the Acer Teamleague.

I suppose he isn't in the lineup because he don't live in the teamhouse.

Taejas wrists could be bothering him and maybe he is only going to focus on Code S because of it.

With Taeja it might be that he's been advised by his family/doctors to cut down on the amount he plays to not make his wrists worse than they already are.

He's solid, glad they're playing him once in a while.
Probably best known for his great PvZ games against Losira in Code A.

Bisu will deliver my points $$$ I have monster team so prepare guys for me @ 1st place in fantasy, no kidding.

So during GSL November, this guy comes out of nowhere and goes 6-0 through Code A, and makes it into Code S as a huge darkhorse. People were hyped about how well he would do, and he was promptly eliminated in the Ro32.
He was one of the few players back then who would use Archon Toilet against Zerg (Kiwikaki had been doing it for a while, notably against Stephano), and it was seen as really cool play, before it became the only thing that happened in lategame PvZ and was seen as gimmicky.

Anyone else excited about Fantasy vs Flash, first game?

Yeah, thought of that, too. Not that he´s not playing because of that, but I don´t think the new coach likes it a lot.

I'm pretty sure I remember Fionn hyping him back then, the poor guy never had a chance.

Looking forward to this weekend, Proleague is back up and get to see how Bisu is fairing in HotS (aside from the special tournament) and Khan's match on the same day.
|
YAY BISU! So glad he is being sent out again =D and his first match is a PvZ, he said he is confident in his PvZ! Woot!
Flash vs Fantasy for first game of R4! Great matchup, but right now Flash is on a tear. You can never count Fantasy out though, so who knows. I also hope Parting gets to play in round 1. It would be awesome to see Flash vs Parting ace match. I love SPL!
Also, Hero vs herO. Wonder how the casters will do on that one lmao

wow! bisu! finally! yey!!!

hero vs hero, for once i'm looking forward to listening to the english cast lol

Really surprised to see huk in the EGTL lineup. No idea what the deal is with taeja Bisu has been playing only HotS for the past few months. That's why he never got sent out for a long time. And the reason he was HotS only was because SKT had no faith in him in WoL. It's not like the team drew straws and he came up HotS. sure

It might have something to do with the trade embargo between the eSF and KeSPA, though I think that lasts until October or so.
