I have made my opinion known and can watch the show if they want. i just wanted to add my two cents here. every other day i have to hear someone say that starcraft 2 is dead, while GSL last night (ro16 grp A)was the most epic thing i have ever seen. the ONLY person we have to thank for coining the term "dead game" at all, for any game, is destiny. i dont care if you think i thought before i typed, but i'm tired of people who can't play real RTS saying that it is dead, just because some guy that has occasional well-said insights decided to make a stupid reddit thread before HotS even came out. just frustrated. the show was decent, what i watched of it. i wish mobas had not taken over all of gaming. 200k placement matches for 1v1 in starcraft this season, while dota sees 9+ million players per month. i doubt LotV will change this, and its probably because starcraft is the more difficult game, on an individual level, due to 1v1. i type this while i wait for the PTR to install, which apparently people need prize incentives to even play the damn game now, and apparently, we can't just have a client... i need to download 15 gigs just to try colors.... sorry for rant, just needed to get that off my chest at 3am, and not on facebook. | ||
