Thorin wouldn't mind, and I wouldn't either. Competition is competition

He does have some good points though, just not presenting them well.

Yeah but like i doubt Chanman invited him on the show to only talk about games HE plays. If that is the case then the anger is ok but otherwise cmon.

Also, he is behaving like a prick and I don't even know what he does in sc2. Like seriously.

the topic was teams/players retiring and they didn't even get to it

Thorin has some good arguments. Then he gets into angry mode and completely sets himself up to be made fun of...
Doesnt change the fact that his arguments stand, but if you wanna win a discussion don´t forget humans are not exclusively logical

He is definately being overly defensive, but I don't understand how 2GD is avoiding the flak?

That's how you get localised sponsorship. That's how you foster talent. What he wants is unrealistic and idealistic.
With the difference that in Swedish football there's less money to gain than in England. And THAT'S what some people seem to dislike apparently. Thorin made a good point: You don't have to force the Koreans to go back to Korea, you have to make the situation over there good enough so they WANT to go back there, that it's worth taking on the harder competition. That's the better approach than just locking the regions, for example.

Lol people getting overruslted over Thorin are hilarious.
Man's got points.

Sorry, I don't support everything Thorin is saying and don't care about region locking that much. My only point is that IF Korean sc2 was all that remained I would still watch. I would prefer a vibrant professional korean scene than a healthy worldwide amateur scene

Doesnt change the fact that his arguments stand, but if you wanna win a discussion don´t forget humans are not exclusively logical exactly, i think he is the smartest(logical) guy in the discussion but too impulsive. That most of the people don't even want to understand him(or can't cause they are too stupid) and are only there to spam "thorin so angry kappa" doesn't really help his points either.

you fucking leave her alone she's all we've got in NA what thorin said about her isn't even true anyway. she played the game for at least a year before IPL 4, but only played in some girl only leagues apparently. obviously she couldn't go to LANs on her own since she had to rely on IPL to bring her out to her first LAN.

agreed, if most of the people watching NA, you simply dont understand our matter of fact blunt manner, its 2am in england right now, hes probably frustrated and tired

Yup agree not the biggest Thorin fan but he is kinda right in my opinion. I think the majority of people want to watch the best games possible and those will take place with korean players. They carried the scene for 10 years and got shafted hard when Blizzard gave GOM exclusive right to broadcast SC2. Even with their piss poor conditions they still have all the best players. If anyone deserve "hand outs" it's them.
