Flippant, brash, and arrogant are all words that describe Stephano and his attitude towards eSports. He never regarded it as anything more than a way to not go to school, and make money. TBH, he isn't even THAT good. He abused imbalanced maps and imbalanced match-ups to get to his 'high' level of play. Sorry, but making roaches all game doesn't make you some tactical mastermind. Ever watch him in SPL? He gets raped routinely in the later stages of the game because his stupid roach pushes don't work and then he's shit out of luck.

You should respect his decision instead of constant whining.
Why respect a sportsman's decision to quit on the best league in the world to play a less prestigious one? The IEM world championship is not less prestigious than simply the up and down section of GSL. If he was forfeiting Code S you would have a point. And if course it turns out this is all a moot point anyway. I agree. People should be more critical of when Rain dropped code S at the last minute to play MLG Dallas.
That was mostly KeSPA decision though (since MLG + KeSPA partner ship + KeSPA being sneaky about not wanting GSL to get as many viewers).
