So sad, i always liked Darkforce quite alot. Kind of a huge blow to the german pro scene and Alternate, maybe they can pick another good player in the future.

Darkforce was the first progamer I ever met, at the NASL Season 1 finals. He was such a nice guy, and really dedicated, first person to show up and was practicing well into the night when there were only 5-6 people in the whole place. I have a lot of respect for him as a person and a player, and will miss him. Best of fortune to you in the future, Darkforce, and I hope we see you around again someday!

Darkforce was always such a baller, he is so down to earth and whenever he talks he just makes to want to listen.
This is strangely emotional for me but I do hope we get to see/hear him around the place even now he has retired.
Can we pimp his youtube in the OP too? I hope he still makes some vlogs every now and again :D

We really was kind of brilliant at times. I thought he'd win a tournament sooner of later cause when he was on he was really amazing. But yeah, not doing well for long periods can dampen any player. GLHF Darkforce

This guy had a terrible attitude imo. Really arrogant for one thing. That sort of attitude won't translate well into poker either.

I wonder what it is about SC2 and poker, it seems people who play one often play the other. I wonder how successful he believes he can be compared to SC2. Is it easier/harder? Maybe he just has more passion for it. Aah well who knows. GL darkforce, you entertained us for a few years and it was fun!

The german scene has some undefined reservations against TLO. Nobody really knows where and when it started. But in the case of Darkforce I would say it was his general half ironic chat style and nothing specific for TLO.

Good luck Darkforce. I personal think everything ended as you started to play Diablo III. Hope you will not play fulltime poker again, because it makes people brain dead (more then playing zerg).
