Yeah it's not like Azubu just recruited about 50 new players or IM got a new sponsor and set up a homepage + store. Oh and MVP also didnt renew their sponsorship with Hot6ix. Additionaly Axiom hasnt even gotten a teamhouse, after pretty much reforming team Slayers. Yeah Esf teams look pretty dead.

Still, there is a reason so much doom and gloom is going around the community don't you think? It's not like people feel the floor is falling out from under SC2 pro scene....for no reason at all. I also think if Azubu and IM didn't have such successful pro LoL teams in korea then they probably wouldn't still be raking in the sponors.

Azubu and Axiom are not eSF, but that's just detail, the point you make is still right

I don't know how to feel about Sage. He won the (Wiki)Acer StarCraft Challenge during his stay in Europe and got mixed results at DreamHack. I would rate him on a level with EU protoss like Harstem, NightEnD and BlinG.

Good luck to Sage, hope it works out for him.

Azubu dropped their LoL teams in Korea btw.

Mass panic is like a disease, it can spread very fast and cause damage, even though there is no reason for it. With KeSPA we got 7 new SC2 teams with strong sponsors. The competition get tougher and the weaker teams will die. That's just a natural process.

Also Azubu dropped both Blaze and Frost.

edit: damnit, sniped on the LoL part

Pretty much this. Everyone knew some teams and players wouldn't be able to survive the entry of Kespa, but somehow everyone decided to ignore it and now people are freaking out. The weaker teams already died off and we still have 16 team competing in 2 Korean teamleagues. I'd say that's almost more than enough.
