It would make more sense to just decrease their point value due to their lack of appearances. Hell, even the OP is giving advice not to pick the two... just feels off if it's suppose to be official and informational.
EDIT: When I mean decrease, I mean start with a decreased point value rather than let it decay overtime. EG-TL has really messed up anti-team in the first two rounds. :/ Picking anti is supposed to be really hard but so far it's been easy in that regard. Kinda glad they're off limits because eg-tl has different priorities than other PL teams, and we even get to see line-ups in advance these days. Good point. But why is Idra still allowed on anti-team? The low number of points on his part make up for him probably never going to play in PL. I feel like we can decrease their point values just enough so anti-team wouldn't be an obvious choice and make it so they're actually viable as part of one's team. If we valued them appropriately(say ~7 points each), then their values would decrease too dramatically in weeks 2-5. Then, you'd be able to trade a very low valued player who did ok for Taeja/Stephano when they do play. Valuing them at 9 and making them un-antiteamable is the best solution we could come up with. Oh, just realized this post explained it much better.
Yep, Mr bamboo explains it quite eloquently admittedly.
However, my main problem with your arguments is that it depends on if they actually do play consistently after 2-5 weeks like it's a foregone conclusion. For example, you trade a low valued player at say ~4 points for Stephano, he wins you 3 points and then he never plays again, to trade for him will still be a risky proposition with 2 points trading for him and trading him off if need be. Hell, it was stated previously that the reason they're valued so highly is because they're going to be ace players, but that seems like a huge IF considering EGTL's tendency to use JYP and Revival as Ace players.
Still, this is a sticky situation and every solution will probably be argued over so I'll stop being a whiny bitch and admit you guys did your best. lol. =P

MC then 4-0s his two Code S Zerg opponents. And then you think JD has a weak ZvP? I still dont get it^^ This is the same silly logic people use to "prove" things in football. So much misplaced faith in EGTL... sigh.

JYP should've won a PvZ on Entombed :/
I was quite sure to sell him after week1, but now i think i wont get a good deal :/
At least JD did ok

Off to a good start, already -9 in total with soO, crazy-hydra and jaedong in anti-team. Hopefully CJ can rescue me tomorrow.

I dunno what's up with Puma by the way lol. I hesitated to pick Classic because he is notoriously bad and even lost vs a foreigner, but Puma didn't even win in proleague and doesn't have kespa coaches to help him prepare decently. Turned out to be a good choice, will have to see if Classic can win some other matches tho. Sad that a NASL winner get trashed everytime he is sent out :/.

YES!
Top 20!
That's how the STX Dunktrain rolls.
I wish I'd had Trap though...
Also was really counting on Flash....Dear didn't lose me points, but he should have won, I was stupid and didn't realize he was playing a PvZ on Caldeum, I'd have picked Trap > Dear in that case T_T
Oh well, i think Dear is the stronger player overall.

I have Effort, Hydra, Bbyong(doesn't play tomorrow, but still...) and CJ as team. If they mess up, I'm so terribly fucked :D

Alright, so I pretty much called every game incorrectly day one. Granted only half my team played (the bottom half), but bogus was the only one to pull through.
Only person on egtl who won was jaedong and he is on my anti. Ouch.

Thanks to Dear I lost 6 points, and that, is fucking horrible.

Dayum 1k people chose soO, that's quite the surprise to me.

To all the people saying stuff like:

Please remember that FPL - and Proleague in general - and probably all of Starcraft - is as much about calculating which player is better than the other as it is about gut feeling and belief. 1040 people have picked soO and 1391 picked SKT T1 because that's where our heart is.

I picked SKT1 because they are cheap, not because of my heart
