Not sure if this is the exact place to put this. Hopefully an admin would be so kind as to move it to its correct place if its not.
I recently did a radio interview for Melbourne radio station TripleR on E-sports, mostly talking about Starcraft but some other things. I want you guys to hear it. Its not a particularly in-depth discussion due to the audience and the presenters of the show, but I thought it was cool anyway that this show had taken an interest in e-sports.

I haven't listened to the interview yet so I might have the context wrong, but if 'the cowboys' are mentioned in Australia, it's generally the North Queensland Cowboys.

I was confused on the grass-root movement comment about how 3v3/4v4 tournaments are starting to appear because...I haven't seen any of those.
In any case, that was a pretty decent interview. Good job.

I actually misspoke on this section. There have been 2v2 tournaments around since 2011, see Z33k 2v2 Masters Weekly, ESL Holiday 2v2 and you can find some other examples. What I meant to say (I attribute this to nervousness) is that these other competitions have been around but aren't as popular as 1v1.
I'm actually writing another blog post at the moment on the grassroots movement and e-sports. Hopefully it will be finished soon.
