Hello, this is FXO coach Choya. Team Grubby has formed a partnership with FXOpen for GSTL! We humbly ask for lots of love and support. Tthis is a fantastic opportunity for us and we hope to win our third GSTL in a row with Grubby's help. Please cheer for us so we can show the best games possible!

I'm partnering with @FXOpeneSports to participate in GSTL 2013, season 1. This is an exciting opportunity to play alongside my new friends!!
Good Luck!

Was just going to make a post on this topic, nice to see Grubby in Korea recently...even nicer to see him playing in the GSTL =D
Nice. Hope he gets sent out!
grubby is one of the most professional esport players... he will do fine wherever he will go. GL
I love you Grubby! No homo.
I will love seeing him in GSTL. Here's hoping he shows what foreigners are capable of with a bit of practice in korea.
Great news !!! I'm vezry happy to see Grubby on GSTL !
Gratz to Team Grubby! Which players of the team will actually play for FXO then? xD
haha, "Team Grubby has formed a partnership...".
And what a glorious team that is! Best of luck!
Doubt he ever sees the booth.
Nice that they get along so well. Maybe this means, that Grubby wants to commit longterm in korea?

1 - Practice with FXO 2 - Partnership with FXO 3 - ??? 4 - Win GSTL 5 - profit

haha amazing news, go Grubby
Doubt he'll get sent out but anything can happen
Very interesting. I feel he could get the opportunity to play as a starter at least once, and then act as a sniper.
nice!! thats so cool. FXO isnt that deep of a team, I can see him getting to play quite a lot.
Nice! I want to see him kick some butt!
Now I don't know if I should cheer for FXO or Startale in the GSTL.
But congrats Grubby.Grubby
Nice! The more exposure Grubby gets to showcase the fruit of his training, the better! Looking forward to GSTL now.
Grubby in the GSTL? Fantastic news. Zug zug!
Well FXO is famous for developing talent. And if they do a partnership with Grubby they have seen talent in him... so maybe we'll soon see Grubby dominating how it is supposed to be, i mean his micro got already so fuckin' good
oh wow! This is great! So much good news coming from korea recently. Good luck to both Grubby and FXO!
More Grubby is always a good thing. I don't normally root for FXO, but I guess I'm kinda going to have to now.
Gotta get that foreigner sympathy. If only EG-TL could partake, it would be a worthy end to WoL.

Nice, so cool to see the scenes coming together. If EGTL played in GSTL too, I'd lose my shit.
Great news. Good luck Grubster!
Maybe he'll even be allowed to play a game before Gumiho all-kills everybody. Grubby might be second best Protoss on the roster after Tear, so he really could be an option once in a while. And Choya would have to face the wrath of foreign fans even more if he decides to send himself again. :D
whoo go grubby! nice for FXO as well, they seemed to lack toss the last seasons so they now have some backup for tear! 3rd championship in a row?
Aww yeah! I hope he does better than he did in Up&Downs tho.. good luck grubby :D!
That's is awesome, and a good choice for FXO to get more exposure xD. It's great to see that their is more and more foreigners playing in all the different korean leagues atm.
FXO has very deep line-up, so hopefully we get to see Grubby play. How long does Grubby plan to stay in Korea?

Lol got himself onto a winner there! Arguably the best ESFI team, 2 times (in a row) GSTL winners....might get to hold a trophy Grubby!
Like others say, i hope he gets played..can't see him being used to "much" in important games though? Then again most of their wins did come from Leenock reverse all killing and stuff
Best of luck to Grubbster, he deserves it.
Even more of a reason to cheer for FXO! Go Grubby
I'd rather see him play for NSHS tbh but well, since he's staying at FXO he could reveal strats so he would be in conflict of interest. I don't think he'll play tho, gumiho and folks, and especially Tear are so good currently.

Leenock Gumiho Grubby Tear Lucky ASD Serius/Whale.. Thats a pretty difficult team to beat
He could be send out as a pvp sniper of some sort I suppose
see it as a publicity trick more than anything to be honest. maybe a sniper would be the best?
fuck yeah! Grubby <3
hope they send him out but i think they will. seems Grubby and FXO are becoming quite close.
Thats so sick! Not sure who I should root for now NsHoSeo is still my favourite korean team. And now with Grubby on FXO, and Axiom also participing... Tough choice
Team Grubby sounds like a good pick for a partnership, congrats to both.
However, I doubt Grubby will be sent out, he's just too inconsistent. Neither will Grubby, his skill level is not quite up there yet. Grubby, on the other hand, might see the booth once in a while, he's quite solid and has proven he can hold his own against top level Koreans more than once. But yeah, Grubby, Grubby and the rest of team just need a little more practice and then we may see some really nice results from them. Grubby-FXO fighting!
"Team Grubby." I laughed.
Really chill guy that I'll always support no matter who he goes up against. I hope that he can use this opportunity to regain some of his past dominance.
Would be awesome if he gets sent out. Gl Grubby!
Can`t wait for the rest of "team Grubby" to join forces with them they will be unstoppable
To be honest FXO probably wont need his help to win a third title anyway xD. Good to see Grubby in GSL again regardless
Go Grubby, best toss in europa!

Great news! I hope to see Grubby in action! Best of luck to all! :D

Anyway, congratulations Grubby! You'll do well in the GSTL :D
Man this might be one of the best GSTLs with Axiom and Grubby playing I wonder if we'll be seeing anyone else join up soon
Best of luck to FXO and Grubby this coming season!
Grubby did look outplayed in the Up/Down matches, so he needs some practice to get used to the Koreans. A great opportunity for him to improve.
I am not sure why people don't think he will be sent out. Sure, he might not get sent out every match. But I am pretty sure he will get sent out every 2-3 matches or so.
I wonder if Grubby is the Protoss that FXO is looking for. Looking for more results from Grubby games!
Nice move by FXO!
Hope Grubby does well and proves that he's better than what he showed in the Up/Down Matches.

Research complete. Go go Grubby
Just posted earlier about how Grubby should join FXO. This is the next best alternative! I hope they manage to win it again this season. Hopefully we see him sent out a few times.
What I'd give to see Acer / Axiom, FXO+Grubby and EG/TL in the same team-league with allkill-format...
I wonder if he will even play, considering pretty much none of these partnerships were really used in GSTL(e.g. StartaleQ).
Let's raise the Grubby line even higher!

Nice, good to see that Grubby will stay in Korea longer. And see him on the bench with his new friends will be quite amazing too.
When will the next GSTL Season start?
Good job with the partnership Grubby! FXO is the best team in GSTL, he'll need to fight for spots in the line up for sure.

Fantastic news, and great for Grubby, I hope it turns out better then the ST and Quantic partnership, where SaSe and Nani where never used in GSTL.

I think you mean Grubby 2 kills, then 3 from Gumiho. It wouldn't be an FXO finals otherwise.
Go go grubby!
I really like your commentaries.
As happy as I am for Grubby. I wonder if he ever is gonna have a go at the booth in GSTL.

Highly doubt it. Team Grubby all the way

i dont think theyll pick him to play, but i think its exciting how many foreigners will be in the GSTL this season (assuming acer and Axiom are there this season
It's a shame he'll never get to play thanks to Gumiho and Leenock.
Grubby has the potential, it's a good pickup even though he should not be sent out for awhile.
This is kinda strange. Maybe he has been doing amazing during internal practice matches, but Grubby would be the weakest player on the FXO lineup by far.
Grubby is popular though, so I guess it's a publicity thing.
This means he's going to be even more involved with practicing against the FXO players. He's going to get sooooooo much better.

Yeah I guess or well I hope he will get a shot at it. I just dont feel it tbh. How many korean progamers do you think he can beat of all the teams that are in the GSTL?
On January 15 2013 22:47 ssg wrote: Doubt he ever sees the booth.
Maybe at the moment but Grubby is an incredibly hard working professional gamer. He hasn't really spent much time in korea compared to other top gamers. Only a few weeks here and there at most but now it seems like he'll be there for a prolonged time in a house with other top pro gamers rather then just in a room by himself playing on korean ladder (when he would stay there for a week or two). I can only imagine someone with Grubby's potential / motivation will benefit greatly during this period and we may actually see him play in GSTL.
And your three time GSTL champions are~
But in all seriousness, they've potentially effectively doubled their useful protoss lineup since Choya doesn't really send himself out anymore (much to my sadness). Tear is a great player, but if other teams actually spent the time to create snipers, FXO could be quite effectively hard countered due to their being a superior player of each race.
Grubby alone could add enormous depth to FXO's lineup. I'm super excited! =D

Not as few as you'd think.
Besides, being associated with Grubby is extremely good publicity for FXO, so even if he isn't at the top level in terms of skill he'd turn a great roi should they decide to sign him.
Nice. Hope he's learning lots of great stuff from Tear!

Good luck grubby!!! Smash them!!!!

Don't know how Grubby is right now, but if he's in good shape I'd most likely send him out over JKS and TheBest.
Leenock (Z), Gumiho (T) Tear (P), Lucky (Z), Grubby (P) TheBest (T), JKS (Z)
Either way it's still all on Leenock and Gumiho :\

AHaha, that's awesome! Really looking forward to seeing him sent out. So glad he's staying in Korea.

I wouldn't. FXO is small and it's early in HotS where we'll likely see a slight resurgence in foreigner relevancy. So it wouldn't be too unlikely to see him come out, and I honestly think he might be better than at least theBest, lol.

Pretty sick. People forget that Grubby has already proven himself as one of the most successful RTS players of all time. He just played WC3 instead of BW... I've been saying since SC2 came out that he's gonna eventually figure out SC and start beasting. Maybe 2013 is the year!

I think his sponsorship is called Team Grubby, or at least that's what he calls it himself. So I'd say that there exists a Team Grubby.

I mean, will FXO even play him? grubby=scrubby and im sure that the team actually wants to win. They might throw the other team off by playing a scrub so the other team might die laughing
