YES! SLAYERS Reunian. I wonder how popular they are in korea considering how much hate there was earlier. I know I love this, a lot. I can't wait till I get to see MMA back to being the emperor to be.
1. Holyballs! Cannot wait for that line up in GSTL! 2. Scarlett in GSL too? Hopefully. 3. Does this mean we might get an Axiom/Acer logo to use now? Pwease?
I was expecting Heart and Alicia to join, but Scarlett going to GSTL is pretty interesting. Now we will see her in the Korean environment and truly determine how well she compares to Koreans.
"Before practice, we ate Kimchi soup made my MMA. His cooking has made me so depressed that I think we may lose GSTL." -Miya
These player messages are so cute ^_^. Seems like the team has a really good atmosphere, which is great considering what they've been through. And it's going to be amazing seeing Scarlett in Korea and Cella possibly coaching with this Acer partnership.
SO excited though! Axiom Acer is a pretty sick partnership! all the zergs you could ever ask for =), which is perfect for Axiom since they're one of the few teams these days (it feels like it at least) without half their roster consisting of zergs =)

Right now I'd take Scarlett over MMA or Miya or Crank in terms of play. The real question is, where is she going to live? Since shes a girl is she going to share rooms or will she stay in the big guest room?

My favorite player Scarlett with my favorite team Axiom!!!!!!!!!!! This is awesome....congrats also to Heart and Alicia for signing with Axiom. Makes a strong team even stronger!

Haha glad you're enjoying our way of bringing out some player personality. I'll actually be listed as the Coach for this first season of our GSTL participation with CranK taking on the role of Team Captain for AxiomAcer. We hope to put out some quality matches.
sweet :D not only nice pickups for axiom, but the partnership with acer is really nice. having MMA and Scarlett (maybe nerchio even?) will be really beneficial.
MMA YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! And Scarlett!!!!! Fuck yeah! So fucking pumped for Axiom. I'm really glad Alicia has found a home finally, and I think Heart will do great with them!

Scarlett will have a room of her own. In the team house we just acquired, we have a room reserved for guests. Since MMA will be living with us on a permanent basis, this leaves the guest room entirely at her disposal.

Looks like the joking "hate" for MMA is still there from when they used to be in Slayers. Good to see! GLGL in GSTL!!!
I find it extremely surprising that a team as incomprehensibly good as this one can get so good so fast. Normally I expect to see funds and organization on this level when people talk about mainstays in the esports scene like EG, not a team that didn't exist until very recently. This GSTL season should be interesting.
Must be tough for scarlett living as the only native english speaker in the house, but she'll be damn sick in Korea. Sick announcement overall though, hope they accomplish something great in the GSTL.
When I opened the topic and saw MMA in that picture I was momentarily confused, then I thought "oh they didn't.... THEY FREAKIN DID!!". Axiom and Acer merging, competing in the GSTL and Scarlett in Korea, great news all round!

It's an inside joke from back when they were apart of Slayers. Miya had a certain joking hate towards him. Perfect example is one of the old house tours of slayers where everyone had MMA as their computer background. Even Miya but he vandalized his and made MMA into some sort of weird pirate or something lol

Cella will probably be around alot. His english is pretty good and he can help translate. And the players english is probably good enough to communicate.
5 talented players, a team-house in Korea, a partnership with a great foreign team and participation in the GSTL in less than 4 months? That's pretty fantastic. Congratulations and the best of luck to Acer and Axiom in the GSTL, I hope you have a bright eSports future ahead of you.

It was Ryung that had the pirate MMA background. Here was the interview where they showed it.

What an awesome lineup. I hope that the majority of players being former SlayerS players doesn't get in the way of what TB has and is doing for eSports. I hope they become a dominating force. Who is the coach though?
On January 15 2013 11:02 Vindicare605 wrote: Woah... that is a pretty powerful line up. I can totally see this team legitimately competing in the GSTL.
With EG-TL in the Pro-league and AxiomAcer in GSTL foreigner teams are making a legit push at the Korean team leagues, I love it!
No we aren't, Axiom is 99% Korean with a Korean practice schedule, coach and team house, with a token foreigner. Yes its run by a foreigner but the squad and management sounds Korean. EG-TL has more foreigners but the house, management and coaching is still Korean, + the korean players do most of the heavy hitting.
Legit pushes at the Korean team leagues would be a team like Karont3 or Empire joining GSTL and not getting all-killed in the first round.
On topic, great news, glad to see most of the old SlayerS back together and I'm supper happy to see them participate in the GSTL too. Now if you guys could also sign Ganzi it would be the perfect reunion!
I can see TB realizes what he it takes to keep a team afloat. Personality. Make the no name koreans into household names with name and jokes. Smart guy.
Can't wait to see the damage they'll be doing in GSTL.
This is awesome news. I hope for Totalbiscuit that they can close the SlayerS chapter and become an independent entity in the SC2 e-sports world. I feel this is already happening in most parts of the world but not in Korea, yet.
This is a really big move. I wana say good luck to them, but I see their players and I say I hope they get crushed and their players retire. Pretty angry at a team like Axiom to recruit these players all on one team. They should have more respect.

Maybe he thought Axiom picked the players while Slayers was still a running team
It's funny, because normaly everyone is all like "Koreans are boring and faceless, only foreigners show personality" and in this video it's just the complete opposite. Awesome work TB, please keep it up!

If they successfully market player personality, then I can see it being a great asset for drawing in fans and viewers to follow their players. We had that great Ryung vs MMA in-team rivalry that was really interesting to think about, not to mention Ryung's exceptional ms paint skills. The SlayerS players have just come off a tumultuous period, and seeing them in good spirits and with lively personalities may boost team and fan morale.

Axiom is quite explicitly a Korean team, focused in Korean, planned around supporting Korean players (and possibly some foreigners spending some time in Korea), owned by a couple of Brits.
Not sure how you got any impression other than that.

i really wish teams would stop teaming and combing there names. They don't actually unite but they just help each other to become more powerful... they represent their own team but play for each other. ugh i don't know how to explain this but it's pissing me off

I have to agree. Korean teams marketing their players properly and producing content like this karaoke video, would be really awesome and ofc draw in a lot of fans. The Korean scene would profit so much from this and wouldn't be so reliant on foreign players anymore, if their own players would be more present to the foreign audience.

Important question: Does EG-TL participate in the GSTL?
Glad to see the ex-Slayers player participate in the GSTL again, gave up all hope on that after Slayer disbanded. Is Scarlett the only non-Korean Acer is thinking of sending over, though? They still have Nerchio here in Europe! Would love to see whether he can cut back his bm on stage...
Anyways, gl hf, acer-axiom or axiom-acer or aa or whatever you call your mixed team!

No but everyone can see what you're doing. You're obviously picking up all the available ex-SlayerS player, trying to live off their past glory.
"Trying to live off their past glory"?
Have you considered the possibility that maybe, just maybe, these players have developed close relationships and work well together due to their time together on SlayerS, and thus being on the same team together is beneficial to them as progamers? No, that's ludicrous. The real reason must be that TB just wants to live off of SlayerS's "past glory". I guess Azubu's also trying to live off of oGs's past glory, right? -_-;;
I hope you're trolling because it's hard to believe that someone can sincerely have such a stupid perspective on something.
Great announcement, full of character and showcasing that the players and team have personalities. Also, Scarlett finally getting to Korea - which I understand has been one of her goals since way back when she signed with that flash in the pan fly by night team initially.
Kudos, TB, and also many more kudos to Genna - you're doing it right. People can whine all they want to about "it's SlayerS 2.0" but judging from the videos and personalities presented, it may have some of the same players that were on Slayers but they are individually and as a group different in mind and spirit. They are not in the shadow of the Emperor, and while I don't think anyone would question Boxer's commitment or passion, there is still something to be said for standing apart from his legacy and having a chance to create their own.
Oh, and Scarlett - hope Axiom and Acer will come together to help her with Korean, the way that Axiom has been helping their players become more marketable through English lessons.
Any thoughts on if you might include any other Acer foreigners in the Axcer eSports archon?

It is not as if Totalbiscuit or anyone from Axiom presents their team as Ex-SlayerS. In fact it seems more that Axiom is doing their best to rebrand these players and present them in a light that perhaps hasn't been seen before. In fact Axiom is probably doing a much better job promoting their players then most other teams in the SC2 scene at the moment and they should be applauded for giving players from SlayerS another chance to work, play and destroy together again.
A successful team isn't just one that wins a lot. A successful team is one that works well together, in training, in social situations. A close-knit team will go a lot further then one that has internal strife.

They're signing Koreans because they're better players that are without teams. They get the most potential return via tournament winnings by signing the best free agents out there. What foreigner free agents out there are anywhere near the level of the players Axiom has picked up?
Sounds like you just are hating on him signing Koreans because you want some kind of affirmative action enforced on SC2.
Goddamn this is epic... It's nice to see the old crew getting back together! I assume Nerchio doesn't want to stay in Korea for GSTL? Axiom Acer Fighting!

Ryung just needs to spend more time on MS Paint, possibly leveling up to Photoshop if needed. A few hilariously controversial image edits here and there should do the job because, as we all know, an image is worth a thousand words.

Anyone else have an OCD thing of annoyance that the corners of the acer logo don't match up with the nearby corners in the Axoim logo it is superimposed on?
On January 15 2013 12:21 herrmus wrote: Only signing koreans cus they are cheap? I guess it would be too expensive to pay westerners a decent salary.
not sure if i'm violating the terms and agreements of the "care and feeding of trolls" handbook now but . . .
TB and genna stated from the beginning that they want to improve the conditions for korean players as there are many deserving non-famous players who have not gotten a chance to shine in korea and because, frequently, many players do not earn money (i believe the majority of contracts do not include salaries) so, unless they are famous enough to get endorsements, many are unable to continue being (and improve as) a progamer. by contrast, (i think) he feels that foreigners have a better chance to earn decent money as a progamer with various teams outside of korea so he wants to focus his help toward the korean scene. if you read TB's comment in the team house thread, you can read between the line and get the feeling that he is impressed by and appreciate how humble the korean players at the house are and how much they seem to appreciate even the little things that he and genna are doing for them and he has, in the past, stated how much he appreciate the amount of work the korean gamers have and are willing to put in to improve and get better.
even ignoring all that . . . it's his damn money. if he wants to spend it signing koreans then, y'know, it's pretty damn well his prerogative.

I mean, I still have the ACE icon, and they no longer exist either.
No idea. It just disappeared after a while and I couldn't see it on my list of teams anymore. I think it's an isolated case though, because other people still have their SlayerS tags on them.

Haha, yeah, I couldn't help noticing that either. They might not line up horizontally, but if you put the tip of the Acer logo in the left corner of the X and rescale it a bit, you could at least make it horizontally symmetrical, and have the leftmost tips of the Acer logo thing line up vertically with the outermost corners of the X (I don't think it'd scale perfectly to line up horizontally, and, even if it did, the Acer logo would obscure the AX too much, I think).

You know what... MMA is right, I think people will pay to see him back. And if not, people will pay to see Scarlett and the rest of Axiom kick some butt!
The sky is truly the limit with the cynical brit brand backing Axiom. To an outsider, who would care about a team called Complexity? Now for those who are interested in Gaming/Youtube TB has quite the presence. One can associate Axiom with TB and instantly find a connection. Other teams don't have this luxury... It surprises me that its taken this long for a community figure to finally understand that they are the best ones to promote these teams. A community figure brings hype to the team which actually fosters interest to begin with, rather than someone trying desperately to make a name for their team without any prior interaction with the community. I don't see Axiom failing anytime soon. In fact, I see quite the opposite. GL HF Axiom. You are bringing the hype that this E-Sport so desperately needs (IMO).

I think Team Day9 would be awesome.
I would never spend all that profit on a team named after me. I'd invest it and actually make money.
totalbiscuit you man are the most awesome caster i have ever seen . i never saw in my entire life some1 to give so much back to the comunity . holy fuck ! gl in gstl
This is pretty cool to see Slayers basically back together with one of the absolute best none koreans as well, such a shame that EG-TL is forced to only play in proleague as it would have been the coolest GSTL ever otherwise.
this is a solid combination, i'm glad to see scarlett being able to step it up and move to korea. she's wicked good already, can't wait to see how she does after some training there

After seeing the whole slayers affair i wouldnt exactly say they are laidback and fun
SlayerS is back, baby! Even AZUBU's participation will bring back Genius. I'd love to see Scarlett's success in Korea and be a significant boost to the team.
Well 2013 is shaping up to be kind of amazing for global Starcraft. EG-TL in Proleague, AxionAcer in GSTL.
Seems like all of the big names are playing Starcraft II in Korea. Foreigners, ESF and even KeSPA. This is excellent, it means the skill level as we transition to HOTS is going to explode from foreigners and koreans alike.

edit: also I think pretty much everyone will ignore basically everything Jessica says, let's be honest. TB/Genna can pretty much ignore whatever shit she tries to stir up, there are very few people who still take her seriously (afaik)

It wouldn't surprise me that she would try, I guess. She doesn't really seem to have any grasp on how public perception works (her managers must have handled it for her she got into the business).
edit: "the managers" I'm referring to her are whoever was in charge of her public persona when she was an actress.

Her twitter is not public anymore but it looks like she said something like this.
But before screaming jessica is bad again..(I see a tendency in TL to shit on her disregarding the legal situation like with the diffamation of slayers eve). They are using the slayers uniform (while replacing the logos) and in Intellectual Property law that may be an infringement (think about nike or adidas counterfits that use the same design with different logos like nice or addiddos or something like that).

I think it's somewhat justified for "TL to shit on her," seeing as no other team or manager would make a public fuss about someone using a picture of their former players.
edit: also I really don't care if she tries to sue/send a cease and desist to Axiom privately, I think Jessica is well within her rights to be upset that they used SlayerS "property" without her permission, but whining on Twitter about it is not at all the right way to go about it.

This. Even if it's technically illegal, it is so insignificant and no other manager on any other team would honestly care. It's completely harmless.

I agree with this. If Slayers was still up and running, I could see why she is upset. But Slayers already disbanded, not sure why she is trying to make it so hard on the ex-players whom she said she treated like her 'children'. The video even paints Slayers in a positive light.

Her twitter isn't "public" anymore and yet somehow anyone who follows the scene knows everything significant that she tweets... does that really mean her twitter isn't public...?
And yes, if you read what I said, I totally understand if she feels like her property rights are being infringed on. What normal people do is call their lawyer, tell them to send Genna Bain a letter, and let the legal system take care of it, because I guarantee Axiom isn't going to try to bring anything to court. The only reason to bring this shit to Twitter ("private" or not) is if you want to make a scene and hurt the public perception of Axiom, and/or draw attention/sympathy to yourself.
SLAYERS FUCK YES. My favorite team is basically back. Minus CoCa and Puzzle. But still. Yeah that's really cool. I remember how Crank and Ryung went to Axiom and MMA went to Acer and it was kind of a bummer to see them separate but now they are back together.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that people on playxp post her publicly available tweets to forums without her permission. My bad, I didn't realize that she was unfairly being persecuted for thinking that twitter is something that only her and Axiom's lawyers can read.
Like, seriously? Anyone who knows anything about social networking knows that you don't post ANYTHING on facebook, twitter, whatever if you're not okay with it being public, especially if you're, oh, I don't know, a famous actress and a prominent industry figure.
We are utterly unconcerned about Jessicas allegations. Copyright law does not work that way. The only intellectual property SlayerS owned was the logo and that is not present anywhere in our materials and last I checked you can't copyright "blue puffer jacket" and "blue shirt". I don't consider a "foreign" team buying Koreans and relying on them foreign. Same for Liquid. Zenio, HerO, Taeja.. and making them both combined for proleague its probably always
Jaedong, JYP, HerO, Taeja, Revival, Puma, Zenio over the foreign players. Thats my point.
Axiom / EGTL's most foreign player will probably be Scarlett/Stephano but I still don't consider that a foreign team that can do something / achieve something when the majority is Korean

Finally! Happy to see Heart finally finding a good place to train at, I may be the only one but I love his cheesy builds ^^ Also going to be fun watching Scarlett burn down in GSTL moahahaha.

Now that Stephano is in Korea and all-kill format is active, EG has a lot going for them.
Do you consider EG a foreign team? I don't. Revival, Puma, Jaedong, JYP... especially in proleague. How often do you see ThorZaIN, Huk... Where is IdrA, DemusliM, Suppy?
I don't consider a "foreign" team buying Koreans and relying on them foreign. Same for Liquid. Zenio, HerO, Taeja.. and making them both combined for proleague its probably always
Jaedong, JYP, HerO, Taeja, Revival, Puma, Zenio over the foreign players. Thats my point.
Axiom / EGTL's most foreign player will probably be Scarlett/Stephano but I still don't consider that a foreign team that can do something / achieve something when the majority is Korean
I didn't expect you to make moves so fast! You'll do better than EG is doing in Proleague. Oh and I'm glad GSL changed their team league format, we'll get to see you more often than we got to see Liquid when GSTL was a ridiculous format. All the best in GSTL Axiom / Acer.

EG is a bad example anyway since they are by far the best foreign team when it comes to advertising themselves. They didn't need Tasteless.

At the time Tasteless was one of the biggest foreigners in Korea(Still is), and he was taking care of IdrA. Obviously he was the go-to guy for EG for their Korean side of things. Using Tasteless was the best choise for them at the time.

MMA looking sick... So cool to see the two bro terrans MMA and Ryung fighting it out together. I was worried about MMA and his slump but forget that I'm just glad hes having fun with his family :"D
It'd be cool to see Nerchio there too, since the Zerg lineup is a bit thin right now. Good to see Alicia on there, adds another Toss and he was looking pretty good at the end of 2012.
This could actually be a really great storyline for GSTL.
Especially given MMA's downfall and everything was around the time he lost to Gumiho in the finals of GSTL. If MMA makes his return by defeating Gumiho in the ace match of the finals of this season, it would be such an amazing storyline! :D

Back then, I can't remember EG being anyway close to as good at promoting as they are now. I think they just had no clue what to do with Tasteless outside of him setting up a house or something. Promotion sucked, then.

its awesome that so many ex slayers players have found a new home. slayers was a legendary team and will never be forgotten, glad that the spirit somehow lives on.
When Genna started Axiom i was like "Yeah, that's a good thing i guess", but i didn't really care that much.
But now, with all the stuff they throw at us. Those videos, a ton of pictures, i can't help but love that team. They all seem so happy, and it let's their personality shine through. Just awesome. I am sorry Startale but Axiom stole my heart.

This lineup is pretty damn impressive. It's basically Slayers + Scarlett + Heart. Most of these guys have GSL potential so will be cool to see them perform. Now if only EGTL makes their move...

The Ticket Prize is very low!
You miss a lot if you refuse to pay 15 (?) bucks. Its worth it 100%!
Livestream in GSL ist 360 though an free.... If you pay you get replays an 480, 720 and HD.

How about:

People really need to stop asking for information they are clearly not entitled and implying there is something deceitful when they don’t get it.

The real question is: Who freaking cares about player to player drama(dumb Slayer's drama at that)? Get pumped for a new team house with a new team that has relatable Korean players. I expect more dumb videoes of the players playing party games. Happy action threater should be the first one, its super dumb and awesome.
wow some amazing news... Cant wait to see the team in action, so many good players. I like the way they´re doing things and the players also seem really relaxed and friendly.
Great news, TB is really stepping up the standards of business for the non-kespa players.
Also, what's with all those slayers comment? I'm pretty sure all the players are happy to have found a new home, let's just hope it works out for the best.
I really do hope MMA's GSTL come back will be great. If it is, I might buy a pass ^.^
Axiom-Acer fighting! (I think Scarlett is gonna do decently well also, maybe averaging 1.3-1.5 win ratio)
Side question for Intricacy or TB. I'm curious as to how you manage to keep control over this whole thing. I mean it's in Korea, with Korean players, Korean business people, a Korean apartment, and most of all, Korean communication. This is all pretty tough stuff. If you just walked over there and said, "I'm a wealthy white guy/woman and I want to run a team here", how would you NOT get taken advantage of to hell and back in every possible situation? I'm really happy for you guys because it seems to work out well, but how do you maintain a powerful position despite being as foreign as it gets?
Oh and congratulations on the house and the GSTL stuff!

The guy has a heavy voice that can be heard around the world.
That's pretty cool. I'm not really well versed in this side of Esports, but is it usually the sponsors that look for someone to sponsor or is it more typically the other way around?
Also, does Logitech sponsor any other exisiting Stracraft 2 (or any eSports) team at the moment?

This. Some stuff is pretty universal across cultures.
I ask about cella, because I am a fanboy you could say. I have been since brood war. He is, in my opinion, the best coach outside of KESPA, and not utilising the opportunity to have him as your coach to me seems extremely strange.
EDIT: Actually it breaks my heart as a fan, that he is not included...AXIOM will do fine without him, but I think it hurts the championship contention without someone like him coaching.

With Parting and Squirtle off of startale, Acer-Axiom is going to be the EG-TL of GSTL (except I like GSTL more), where I will watch every game that they are part of. This announcement made me excited for the GSTL more than I was at the end of last GSTL season, even after TSL disbanded and my two favorite players left an ESF team. Best of luck!

Jessica would probably drive to his house and strangle him if he coached Axiom.
This is pretty interesting. I hope that Scarlett is treated well in Asia (as someone who lives there they aren't exactly the most open-minded people [traditionally/culturally]) when it comes to gender issues.

If it wasnt for boxer esports in korea would not exist) Ryung - typing in childish complains about game (imba) balance in the semi finals of gsl

TB specifically said they didn't use any photo's that belonged to ex-slayers staff. You got any proof saying otherwise?
And please go on specifying how Korean law effect content on youtube. I hope you are aware that TB's whole living is based on him not breaking copyright laws since it puts his whole channel at risk.

the question whether the photos might be a problem is something thatcan be aswered only through the specific contractual relations between photographer, slayers and the players.
the other question is about the uniforms. there are several related statutes, as the design protection act (which requires registration), general copyright law and the law against unfair practices. from what i have seen the design protection act is probably not relevant as there is no design patent (i only searched with jessicas korean name). the general copyright act might be applicable if the design was made by jessica herself or she had a designer specifically design the uniforms and had a contract that gives her the exploitation rights for the design. the law against unfair practices may be applicable too. the law against unfair practices protects the form and the subject of a product or service. the formfactor of a uniform maybe subject of protection (the last part im not sure so i asked)

This is cool news, but am I really the only person out there that just can't stand Totalbiscuit? His bias when hes casting Crank's games bother me so much.

CranK is the captain of the team. The captain is not necessarily the ace, but the most experienced player. As an STX and SKT BW player in teamleagues as well as in a de-facto coach role in SlayerS he is clearly the most suitable for the position.

Isn't that a petty remark? TB has done so much for SC2 and esports and continues to do so, now you criticise a bias regarding Crank. TB choose him for a reason as the first Axiom player.
From what we know, the Axiom owners actually care about their players and have a personal relationship, too. Players are not just a resource for them. I think we should support team owners who stand behind every player.

This is funny... you seem to think somebody like TB is doing these things for e-sports out of the goodness of his heart, while others may speculate hes just trying to cash in. Either way, I am perfectly entitled to my opinion about him as an individual, caster and team owner. You cannot deny that he shows bias towards Crank in particular when he casts his game.

Easy. Reliable and trustworthy players, friends, translators and competent management and owners.

hey farnham, you're in luck... this is actually really fortunate for you: If your theory is true, Axiom should disband before long and Genna and TB will come out saying that Crank and the other guys are horrible people and it was all their fault.
and if that doesn't happen, what are you gonna say?
Hey maybe they get along well But with what was disclosed of those players i have to say thr imagr i get from their personalities is more than dissapointing. I will not root for players that have good skills but are horrible persons.

Man such terrible terrible persons. Better hide your kids and hide your wifes, Koreans, there are still some people out there that want to be picked up from the airport personally.

Yeah I'm sure TB is investing tens of thousands of dollars into a sc2 team to make money, definitely the case.
Axiom is a passion project, there is no way it doesn't operate at a loss. There's no money to be made in running a sc2 team unless you're TL and have their own store ( still probably operates at a loss ) or EG.
Obviously, everyone likes money, but I've been observing TB for a while and I can confidently say that he's motivated by far more than greed. And lol @ people complaining about him being biased toward a player on HIS team... no shit he's gonna be biased. Who cares? It's not that important.

Hey now... no need for name calling. You put yourself out there as a caster and team owner. People are entitled to their opinions about you. I simply made a comment. I understand that not every may agree with me and that fine. I guess I should clarify my main point when it comes to your bias towards Crank. I understand that because of your affiliation with him its very difficult to not show enthusiasm or excitement during his games. I just feel as a commentator games should be cast as neutral as possible.

Your other criticism is merely fluff.
Well TB, Ill just make one thing clear. Crank was a B-teamer without any official record, Calling him an experienced player in team leagues is just laughable.

Honestly Scarlett is one of the better players in that team. I might consider Ryung better, but no one else really is better than Scarlett. I think you overrate those Koreans and you underrate Scarlett, but such are the usual things done. Miya, Crank, MMA, Alicia and Heart, they're good, but it seems obvious to me that Scarlett is a better player than them at the moment.

Lemme say this. He has an awful lot more experience in dealing with team coherency, coaching and management than anyone aside from SlayerS players really realize. Results do not tell that story.

Yeah, I agree completely.
Sorry this is part of the community, dude. : (
Edit, haha, I guess the other post was edited out.
wtf is with all this flack TB is getting? I honestly am happy to see this team come to fruition with this team house and now in GSTL. I couldn't name a better person than TB to run it. If you want neutral casting, you want robots casting. Artosis is a bit bias to Nestea. Should that mean he shouldn't cast his games because he's going to favor Nestea over his opponent?
I think Crank was the best choice for captain. He seems like a very responsible player that can be that go-to person the players can go to if managers are not available. Not to mention, Crank's relationship with TB could be a factor since TB sponsored Crank to MLG. All speculations of course but either way I support and can't wait to see how Axiom-Acer does in GSTL.

The most vocal parts of any community online and in real life tend to be the extreme positives and the extreme negatives. It's just a response bias on part of people who don't like him or his players. You see it with every big name player or caster to be honest. There are plenty of people with other opinions positive/negative that you don't see post so it just seems like there's a larger proportion of haters than there really is.

Yea especially Ganzi. Yugioh came later, but that would be cool too. I care mostly about ryung, alicia, mma, ganzi, like the old old slayers days.

Remember when scarlett 2-0 ryung? <3
I'm talking overall (in the three matchups) and I'm not even close to sure when I say that Ryung is better than Scarlett.
