As for the best-performing player in round one - it's Rain: 6-1 and 2-0 in aces. http://www.teamliquid.net/fantasy/proleague/Stats.php?r=12

It clearly takes other factors into account. It's not the "absolute best-performing player of the given period" award either. I know that. It's the most valuable player award. We all know Thorzain wasn't the absolute best-performing of all. Obviously. MVP is a bit more vague. But still.

Anyways, why are people surprised? Yes, this is very condescending and destroys the meaning of MVP, but did you all forget who they gave the MVP to last season? Was it: Player A) 19-12 Player B) 19-6 Player C) 15-4 Player D) 18-11 and led his team to their first ever Proleague championship Player Jaedong) 15-15 They gave it to Jaedong. These MVP awards are pretty meaningless when half the time they're given to a player with a good story instead of a player with good results.
