How do you feel about winning?
I feel good that we were able to secure our very first victory for the season. If our team starts off a season well then we can ride a momentum through the rest of the season so we prepared really hard. Every player that got sent out today performed well.
Flying went for a very fast mothership timing.
I went to attack Flying's expansion but his mothership was concealing it so I got flustered. But I figured that he built that mothership for defensive purposes so I decided to play an economic game. I also thought to myself that it probably wasn't going to be a good idea to go for brood lords quickly. I decided this because I knew I would be in a difficult position if he vortexed me as I was trying to get my brood lords. I think that my secret to being able to win the game was the fact that I made sure I had plenty of army supply left and then spawned a bunch of ground units at once later on.
How did you prepare for your game against Flying?
I heard for the first time once I got to the studio that Flying did really well last season. I didn't necessarily get alerted by that news though. I just practiced on ladder like always and I also played my match peacefully.
Last season, your SC2 record was one victory. What are your goals for this season?
I am the type of guy who rides a momentum a lot of times. Since there's even a winners' league for this season, I want to work really hard. Last season, I set my standards way too high and it actually ended up making me perform even worse (laughs). For this season, I want around thirty victories,
Your next opponent is EG-TL.
I have been friend with PuMa and JYP for a long time now. But I've never played in a televised match against them before so I think this is going to be a lot of fun.
Whose performance are you most excited for from CJ this season?
Within our Zergs, SonGDuri, who didn't get a chance to get sent out today, has to practice a lot. I'm excited for SonGDuri's performance and rare is also increasing rapidly. Leta hyung also has had a major skill increase all of a sudden. You will see him soon enough.
Do you think you'll be able to grab the championship for this season as well?
We won the championship last season so we received incentive and solid motivation (laughs). Every teammate was able to taste what they felt like so I'm sure we all have the same goal and will work hard.

I want to thank my teammates for always practicing with one another without any complaints. I hope we all get to show great performances from here on out.
