Correction: Daily ESPORTS mistakenly reported earlier that Jaedong would return to Team Eight immediately should they find a sponsor. This was a misunderstanding; Jaedong's 1 year period with EG is binding. |

DYNASTY I lol'ed. It's a shame Suppy still has school. Would have liked to see him play in PL. Haven't realized that we now have 2 "Suckballswithoutme" players in EG-TL now.
I count 3. Waiting for PirateToss, MoustacheToss & TheworldSucksballswithoutmeProtoss.

lol really tells a lot about the downfall of sc in korea and the level of sc esports in general. You think jaedong earns anywhere near the salary he earned in the heydays of BW as member of OZ? Get a grip on reality. Its certainly a step forward for foreign teams, but from a global perspective, Its the result of a huge step backwards.

Agreed... sure it's awesome, but it says a lot about SC2 in Korea (as if we already didn't know)

Can someone explain the football references? I assume this Real Madrid team is known for picking up established athletes only?

Looks like I just changed my favorite progaming team to EG.

what does anywhere close mean? because I don't think you are saying much here.
I think he probably earned a good salary before and a good salary still (though probably admittedly not as much).
What kind of figures do you think he earned/is earning exactly? Since you decided to make this post.

not to say sc2 is or is not doing awesome, but what?
the guy changes to a new game and gets a salary (that is probably quite large) solely based on his name and history and it's a sign that the game is doing bad? lol?

How do you think Team8 were paying him without a sponsor? He's probably getting more money now than he was.

I don't know Jaedong's exact numbers, but flash was making upwards of 300k usd annually when you include prize money. Jaedong's salary was surely six figures.

Actually EG is like Man City - good players, bad always underwhelming results. I guess they should fire "the man" in charge.
( Or get a Korean coach, we will see if he can enchant the curse. =) )

ok well you don't get to include prize money and im aware of that already. also do you know how much EG is paying jaedong because I wouldn't be surprised if it's 6 figures at all.

wasn't 1st place for an OSL like 100k usd?
edit: should have realized travis was gonna ninja me
