without teamliquid the bw scene outside of korea would not be what it is, the popularity of sc2 wouldnt be what it is. teamliquid has done so much for the scene and yet unrecognized by many. this is the greatest thing i've heard (in the context of esports) since starcraft 2 itself. i wish you guys the greatest luck. have fun. | ||

They were all former BW players with varying degrees of success, but beside  Sea, the other Korean players  HerO, TaeJa, PuMa, JYP, and  Zenio have never made it into a KeSPA-sanctioned league such as Proleague and thus on national television. I can just picture HerO's biggest fan, his father, now glowing with pride from left to right to be able to see his son compete while the entire country will be watching.  Also, Sea's previous experience in Proleague will be invaluable for this undertaking. Let's hope he'll be the team league monster again that he used to be.  Wonder who will be Liquid Geniuses' starting line-up on Saturday when Proleague kicks off, as DeMusliM, HerO, and TaeJa will all be at NASL finals still, and most of the foreigners not in Korea yet. Probably just PuMa, JYP, Sea, Zenio, HuK, and possibly ByuL (if rumors hold true)? With this being a first in history for KeSPA, I hope they also relaxed their pre-submitted roster rules somewhat seeing as foreign players will mostly likely not be able to stay in Korea for the entire season (which will be an entire year, by the way).Also hope there will be a revised team logo.  | ||

I saw on the EG website that they had coach Park Sung JIn from, SKT. For a solid minute I thought that was "the" coach park. | ||

What if one of the new EG players is......naniwa? I know they didn't want to sign him before, but he matured in the past months, lives in korea and would fit this team really well. | ||

Basically the best way for KeSPA to build their fan-base without making their players look bad was to allow a foreign team access. Smart move by KeSPA, and I really hope the foreigners can give the former SCBW pros a run for their money. | ||
