One time, Jaedong beat some guy in WCG and said in an interview that he thought he was playing against the computer. Don't remember anybody complaining about that.

Cause its an entirely different story
adelscott is a progamer who decided to dedicate his life to sc2
the guy Jaedong beat was some D- player who sneaked his way into WCG for fun

Parting trash talking as always, in this case i find it to be somewhat in bad style, MC trashtalks a lot too but i dont think right after he beats someone and in a more 'fun' banter kind of way
but whatever, thats parting

So many high horsemen in this thread. Parting won, he's allowed to say whatever he wants. I'm sure he's just laughing it up, and joking around with 90% of what he says. And even when he loses, he still acts like that. Yes, calling your opponent bad after winning slightly bm, but it's all for fun and games. He'd rather act arrogant, and cool for the few years he'll be gaming rather than shy and humble. Why not if it's just one chapter in your life.

Parting has no clue why he won, because Adel is not that bad. Game 2 was close and if Adel didn't fail 1 forcefield 5 zealots would have been dead and he'd have won. The thing is Adel's style has been figured out in Europe and especially in French tournaments where he's lost against french zerg no names. So many people constantly complain that Adel doesn't do more varied builds.

So when Adel played Parting in the finals he thought Parting had studied him in depth, so Adel played completely differently than usual. Adel is always going for 1 gate robo fast immortals and expand but instead he chose to gamble in game 1 and change builds.

Adel pretty much overthought the game and defeated himself, while Parting just played his style without really doing builds to counter Adel's supposed style.

Parting is really acting like a douche there. When guys like Stephano or MC are trashing it's BM and sometimes they went a bit too far in my opinion but they're always doing that with a 2nd degree, there's almost always some kind of irony behind it or untold things. With Parting there's no funny meaning behind it, it's just straight insulting.

So you can tell that PartinG's comment had no irony or 'untold' things from a TRANSLATION?

Did you see Stephano's interview where he called out the patch zergs? What was the irony and untold things there?

I can tell there's no irony because they haven't played each other before and haven't met before.

There's such a thing as patch zergs, it's not BM to mention it. And imo Stephano and MC are BM and are insulting sometimes but they're funny guys so it even things a bit.

PartinG's pretty hilarious lol, even MC wasn't this funny
And I love a pro-gamer that speaks his mind openly like this. Adelscott IS bad compared to the quality of opponents that PartinG normally faces.

Please point out where the "bad sportsmanship" comes from. I only see an interview where a pro-gamer speaks his mind and what many others were thinking, and isn't afraid to tell the truth.

A whole lot better than:
"My skills are skill lacking, and for that I am sorry"
"I promise to show better games in the future"
"Luck was on my side today"
"I didn't think I would win at all"
"My condition has not been the best lately"
