How did you work that out? Even if they have Byul they would be well short of Korean based players and the ones they have have done very little this year in terms of results.

While JYP hasn't won any tournaments (that I am aware of off the top of my head) he was in code S for at least half of this year (can't remember when he got in this year but I know he was knocked out of code S last season or this season, again can't remember which).

Puma hasn't won a tournament this year but did take third in ASOG ROG tournament and placed 2nd in IEM6. Not as great as last years results, but not terrible (I don't know how far he made it in his foreign tournaments).

Then they have stephano/thorzain/idra and if byul joined then him to, to do GSL. Doubt they would win it but I think they could do well potentially.

I'm implying Suppy was a very good pickup for EG (look at his results recently) and if they happened to snap up ByuL he would also be a very good pick up for their team.

People are actually saying "low tier Korean" or "he's bad"?

Is Team Liquid like, really divided when it comes to what tournaments they watch? I feel like a huge majority of ignorant statements about certain players and tournament events are from people who watch only Dreamhack, or only MLG, or only European events, or only Korean events, etc.

Also that fact that different people have different tiers.

IE

Person A - top tier 1-20, mid tier 21 -50, low tier 51+

Person B - top tier 1-30, mid tier 31-80, low tier 81+

Person C - top tier 1-10, mid tier 11-30, low tier 31+

So even if all 3 ranks the same player about equally(which isn't likely), it still might be different 'tiers'.

Was there ever any resolution of this? They showed him as EG_Byul_RC at a time when EG said that they had a major announcement to make, but as far as I can tell he isn't actually on the team.
