So they've picked up a second player in Ryung, but they've shown they're inable to get 1 foreign player to a simple 1 scheduled match in an MLG tournament. The entire "team process" was getting 1 guy to 1 match at the right time at the right place and they couldn't do that. It is not that hard. Of all the teams I could mention EG managed to get all their guys to all their matches, this is what a well run team does. They fly someone halfway around the world and totally fuck up their scheduling. The guy is still live in the tournament but they're fine with him sleeping in the hotel. Really? It's not that hard? Total->Failure. Edit: A typo or two. User was temp banned for this post.

I get the feeling you just want to rant, any normal person with half a brain would be able to muster the understanding for this mistake. if you have not read what goes on at MLGs if you have not read the reasons and apologies then you are an even bigger failure. If your bus is supposed to arrive at 10:00 and you plan for that but somehow the bus is earlier than expected but you are right on time causing you to mis your bus. doesnt make YOU the incompetent one. sure you could goto the busstop now if you want to catch your bus tomorrow.. but who the f does that?

I actually agree, however my point was that at this tournament in 2012 all of the EG guys were in the right place at the right time. I'm not much of an EG fan but SirScoots/EG managed to get everyone in the right place at the right time. Maybe it's as hard as herding cats but they did it. So did a bunch of other teams. End of story. Axiom with 1 player and 1 upcoming match failed to do so, this is the simple fact.

And there's been several occasion during MLG when other teams have failed, MLG is notorious for their hectic schedule. Of course people should hold Axiom accountable for mistakes but it's a easy mistake to make proven by the numerous occasions this have happened during all MLG's. Maybe people should cut a brand new team a little slack. And having 1 player doesn't necessarily make it easier since there's less people on a team that can discover mistakes.

- cross cultural differences - language barrier, after it's been through translators - time zones - keeping up with the MLG schedule, as hard as it may have been to figure out - a mixture of all of the above I really don't understand what Axiom were focusing on, to miss that there were going to be 4 rounds of the loser bracket played on Saturday. For some reason they assumed there wouldn't even be 1 round, in the end 4 were played. I don't know why ppl are so defensive, I'm not allowed to correctly point out that the failure was from Axiom and not MLG or Crank?

You're allowed to say whatever you like within reason.. the problem lies within you saying your're correct, and going about it in a dramatic and retarded manner

Seriously... And by that variables many teams, including Liquid, EG, Fnatic, FXO (x3) etc would be failures. Yet those teams are amongst the most successful in SC2. Maybe you should reconsider your point of view.

What else do you want from them? Why does this single mistake turn their whole team into "Team FAILURE"?

In the words of the TL mods, please keep the hyperbole to a dull roar Axiom is far from "team failure"
