I believe Naniwa was in the Startale house when he was doing well in GSL. He hasn't looked nearly as good since leaving that house and entering the GOM house.
Mana got seeded and did okay in the GSL, but it'd be hard to credit the GOM house since Mana played his GSL matches not long after arriving in Korea. It's hard to believe the training regimen actually kicked in at that point.
The best part of the GOM house was housing some of the casters and players who were planning very short stays in Korea. Unfortunately, it seems that GOM never really organized the house by giving certain people (like Khaldor) official authority within the house. Imagine how different it would be if Khaldor got to decide who stays and who goes as well as the ability to recruit people to the house.

this shouldn't be too big of a deal, as most foreigners stay w/ pro teams anyways these days right? still i liked the fact that gom took care of their foreigners.
