I couldn't believe he actually pulled off a win in that game, was really ridiculous watching from his perspective.

Yeah, they streamed it on blue but I think Flash vs Life was going on at the same time, so I don't think that many people watched it. Bomber played amazingly well - it only really looked close at the beginning on the stream but through his constant aggression and his as usual great macro he got a big lead that he never lost. Rain only held on for quite a while due to storm but he was 40 supply down during most of the later fights.

Well considering that they decided to not let Kespa players join even tough they wanted before ESF went on OSL strike i say at the very least had to give their approval and were partially involved for this situation.

If you wanna go the conspiracy way even they got GOM by the balls now. Either GOM punishes Rain and creates a lot of flame and anti fans or Kespa can now pull players away from the GSL without any worries since they always have the Rain situation to fall back on. No need to hop on the drama train bro. You're just speculating.

THe deal is that you end up in failscade situations against terran where after a certain size storm doesn't do enough damage (unlike say fungal). I think it's probably a case of experience and the next time he'll handle the agro better. All-in-all trip was probably worth it considering his probability of winning and the pay per level in the GSL.

It's because you think like this that no one will remember your name. I assume he paid for flights and accommodation since he played from the open bracket. I assume that in 2 weeks, no one's going to remember anything about Rain or how well he did. All people will care about will be the GSL Champion. Because that's actually important and actually demarcates skill. That is why no one will remember your name.

Actually it is worth it because he gets exposure to the foreign scene. Ans besides I'm pretty sure he doesn't need to play flight and hotel from his own pocket.

Which is laughable for a player of his caliber, and probably doesn't even cover the expenses of his trip to the US (regardless of who is actually paying the bill). Off-topic: + Show Spoiler + A top player in any other sport would make 4k a minute. And what comes to esports, if he was a LoL player that figure would be at least ten-fold.

Are you kidding? Where are you getting this information from? It's my understanding that LoL players get even less than many SC2 players, (not counting the exceptions that win a big tournament). This MLG had a 20,000 first place prize for their LoL tourney, and thats split among a whole team.
