Its ok because Yonghwa will finally get out of Code B and wreck Rain in the RO48.

He did look pretty pathetic in his last game against Leenock, but maybe that was him getting his shitty play out of his system just in time for Code A? Like what he did against Scarlett at the beginning of MLG? One can hope ...

Maybe they can meet again in Code A, and Bomber drops him out of GSL.

I say it's a wash. Depends on how he does in the Worlds. If he wins, then it's all good. If Rain loses at WCS Globals, then having those empty weekends watching IPL5/GSL will be annoying for him. Also with Life's win at MLG, he is firmly the best in the world and will keep that title until proven otherwise. Even if Rain wins the Worlds, he needs to beat Life for me to change my mind. Worlds' line-up is too Protoss heavy.

Well, we havent seen Life beat good protoss in quite a while. He's been riding the terran wave pretty well lately. His Zvz was always good, so yet to be seen how he fares vs toss.

He beat Seed last season. It was close, but Seed is one of the best.

While I personally agree with you that Life is currently the best in the world, he didnt have to play a pvz all of MLG. Only series PvZ I've seen him play recently was his 2-1 against seed about a month ago. I know he is no slouch in the MU but still some reassurance in a live event would be nice.
Also the real standout player of MLG for me was leenock. I mean he just looked so complete. Yeah life beat him and has better ZvT in my mind, Leenock showed that he is definitely one of the best players on the planet, especially in MLG format (again we already knew this though, its why he won 2 already).

Life and Leenock are my two favorite players. I felt Leenock was the best player overall at MLG and I think he blew it in the finals (not saying Life didn't deserve to win though - just Leenock played 2 bad games and lost a won game in the final game... just having been up 3-1). Leenock's mechanics, builds, decision making, micro, macro in EVERY match-up are world class. To me he's in a league of his own. I want him to get a GSL or OSL championship soon so much - he deserves it. I guess we'll all settle for him dominating MLG every time though.

Did you actually read my post, I'm talking about Leenock in the entire post.

We should hold off on calling Life the best in the world until he shows ZvP dominance. His GSL and MLG wins were heavily based on drawing lots of Terrans in his brackets.

And then all-kill in GSTL.

Imagine if bisu qualifies and he hits rain on the first round lol. How's that for a storyline.

Not only he won like 4k US$, but he probably had his best time since he started being a progamer. 4k is a lot less than what he could have won at GSL and fighting through the jet lag/cold is not fun haha You only get 4.2k by getting to the semis. Besides, I'm sure he enjoyed way more playing in front of a passionated crowd than in front of the empty/emotionless GSL crowd. The Empty/Emotionless GSL crowd: ![[image loading]](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0Xt1zENWSP0/UIKAEI7I2jI/AAAAAAAAAsU/Epd55y7gIuI/s1600/finals7.png) (and yes that is mvp vs life) Oh, c'mon. We both know that GSL is bad unless you get to the finals.
Oh c'mon nothing man. My guess is that occasionally there are more people in the Studio watching ro16/ro8 GSL than people watching the stream for MLG's MvP.
