I dunno how TL can make drama over this decision when GSL doesn't seem annoyed, and neither does Kespa or Rain. No one's blaming anyone else, it's just how the schedules lined up.
I mean, it sucks that we can't watch Rain in Code A, but it's not like Rain is completely out of the GSL. He gets to fight people like motherfuckin' Taeja to get back into Code S. Yeah no. SKTT1 could've easily told GOM earlier (like a few days ago) and GOM would've been able to change the schedule.
Like Fionn said, this is either incredible incompetence by SKT management or foul play.

Seriously? I would have sooner forfeited MLG. It's not just that it is GSL, it is also the fact that he is now down in Code A and has to fight his way back. I do not have that much sympathy for Rain but that is weird. I hope he fails at MLG

to be fair, MLG and Kespa have a partnership, and he only played in the GSL because of the ESF players threatening to boycott OSL. There are plenty of Kespa players in the GSL now, plenty more will be in the Code A qualifiers next week.
People making a big deal out of nothing.

Wow... That decision just feels wrong. Why would you choose MLG over GSL? I mean he definately has a chance of advancing far at the very least... Makes no sense.

So.. does anyone know how many of Rains games at MLG Dallas will be casted? Where do I find the ticket info?
|
oh shit..

GL Rain in MLG. He seriously thinks he has a better chance of top-8 there than an epic run in GSL. I really like the guy and his humor shows every time I get to chat with him. Keep working hard! Hwaiting!

What the... forfeiting a Code S spot for a spot in the open bracket of MLG...? And yeah, I also think that GSL should apply some disciplinary sanctions against Rain like his predecessor.
|
Haha name yourself Rain and you have top drop one Code S spot. But not much Gom could have done it seems like.

This cannot be what happened. This is either a mistake by the management or on purpose. GSL has repeatedly accommodated players in the past by moving their match later or earlier.

He better win that shit now! :D

Open bracket or not, compared to Code S MLG is free money for Rain. Sucks for Gom and Kespa will always be bastards in my eyes no matter what, but in this instance I understand Rains decision.

Needs tweets from Jessica before I sharpen the tines of my pitchfork.

Maybe he wants to play in front of crowd ?

As much as I love Rain participating in a "foreigner" tourney, I hate to see him drop out of GSL even more

May sound random to some people, but did anyone realize when he won OSL vs DRG, it seemed to me that he .... prayed?

So Fnatic.Rain gets a 2 season ban and this Rain just gets send to Code A? Not really fair, is it?

How can you say Open Bracket MLG is easy? Has anyone ever won MLG coming from the open bracket? I think Rain just wants some new life experiences.

Code S just a minor league for Kespa players
