I think the real reason Moletrap is leaving is because OSL didn't renew his contract. Pretty foolish of them, especially if they think a LoL caster is going to do better. Moletrap's player knowledge and BroodWar expertise is second to none. Having MT and Doa was like reliving the old Code A days, only with better matches and better casting.

GL 2U Mr. Moletrap sir, don't listen to any of these jealous eSports trolls. The only thing they ever accomplished was buying another bag of chips and winning a silver 4v4 match.

I have mixed feelings about this, I was not really a big fan of his sc2 casting, but it is still sad that he have to give up on his passion. I hope he can keep doing what he loves in the states.

Can honestly say I've never been a fan of his casting, in the slightest. In fact I stopped paying GOMTV and stopped watching all together because of his casts. I paid for OGN, but canceled it again because his casting just didn't fit what I liked to listen to, especially at 4 in the morning.

That said, the guy put a TON of sweat blood and tears into getting where he was, he was a point of entry for competitive brood war and though he never lived up to his brood war days in sc2 the man gave it his all. A lot of people should ask around, look on twitter, use google, but there are stories all over about how this man would wait hours and hours just to talk to pro-gamers to be able to share some interesting little tidbit with his audience.

What someone said earlier that persistence shouldn't be rewarded, I agree with. I think that while casting you should appeal to the majority of your audience, and when you can't you need to bow out, because they're the ones giving you a check. I do NOT think Moletrap fits this though, I did not like him as a caster in the slightest, but to say he was killing e-sports? No. The man used his podium to give us insight to the Korean scene like Artosis did.

I sincerely wish Moletrap the best moving forward and think he will have no trouble getting another job in e-sports, but I do not think he should be behind a camera as a caster. Your interviews were always fun and interesting Moletrap, use that to your advantage. Offer to provide content between games like is done at almost every major tournament now.

Good luck Moletrap, I hated your casting but loved your personality.
