Anyone who is using an 'X your momma' insult is quite immature. Granted a your momma joke is in mature, but getting upset over it just seems silly to me. Of course as some one pointed out, I don't know the culture so maybe those kinds of jokes hit harder to them. But in my eyes say go X your mother is only something a young child should get truly upset about, especially when said online of all places...
It may be silly, especially so if it's said online to someone you barely know. However this is said to supposedly a friend of MC, in which case I find it very poor taste. Especially considering the culture, as someone pointed out earlier.
Actually, if a friend of mine would say this to me, I would definately get offended. To me it's worse than someone telling me to fuck off for example.

It all comes down to what kind of friends you have and how do you really feel about it. if a good friend of mine comes to me and says something like that, it's a joke and he knows it, thus he can say it without hard feelings.
Sure culture differs, but as long as Genius is alright with it (maybe has same kind of jokes), no big deal if you ask me. Just do it more cautiously next time, so things like this won't happen.

Then how do you explain the screenshot? I doubt it just happened that Jessica is right there alongside Genius, and told Genius to take the screen shot. Clearly Genius didn't take that as a joke, and told Jessica about it.

First of all, it's entirely fine that people are butthurt over something like this. In any other sport this will be viewed as quite an offence and will be definately fined or atleast have a major backlash from the public. Especially so in Stephano's case.
Secondly, to the bolded part. How did Jessica get the screenshot? Maybe because Genius didn't see it as a joke and shared it with Jessica?

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on this. Yes the culture is different but at the end of the day it still comes down to the two people. I'm 100% sure not every Korean ever gets completely and totally offended by jokes/'insults' like that,

I'm thinking of all the times MMA is shown in the booth chatting happily with his opponent or perhaps others in the lobby (yet with his opponents also shown laughing or smiling, it was probably with them). Then again, if SlayerS players were bullied, it probably wasn't him. I suspect the bullying thing is just an angle Jessica worked up with only a grain of truth to it, exacerbated by the real practicing ban and probably a lot of jealousy towards the players on Boxer's team. Maybe there was some dislike and Sleep was mistreated, but this systematic and widespread bullying that Jessica alleges? That's up in the air for me.

I tried explain that in others countries and cultures, isn't offensive to talk with friends like that... maybe in another culture this kind of things deserves death sentence.
