I would call this whole thing a joke but in fact it BEGAN with a joke, now it's a way for Stephano haters to bring him down... I noticed that the pro community was really harsh with him too, like they're feeding the troll : I just watched state of the game and they were talking about the favourites for WCS World, they mentioned Nerchio and Scarlett but not even Stephano. When ToD said "there is also Stephano" JP said "Well if he doesn't meet another 14yo girl again"... Seriously that's all to say about Stephano and WCS World ? Because everyone agrees on the fact that Protoss should rule the WCS world, now what would have been great to discuss is Stephano's chances given that he has the best ZvP in the world... Honestly i'm not an american hater but this overreaction is just soooo silly. | ||

I think you are overreacting to SOTG. JP made a joke is all. They did not really talk about the drama at all. JP and Apollo made the point that those tournaments he could not attend, ASUS ROG Invitational and DH Bucharest, would regret his absence more than he would regret missing them. Obviously Stephano is going to be a contender at WCS, they don't have to talk in depth about it because that tournament is not really imminent. | ||

Professional players have to know that these are the reactions that are going to spawn from the more toxic people in our community, and act accordingly. That means checking if your friends are streaming before you say something silly, or just not making jokes that could end up with this kind of reaction to begin with. I hate it, but you can't stop these people from running to sponsors to yell about anything they can yell about, even if it's just a joke between friends. | ||
