Wow. Hope he finds a team soon. He's definitely one of my favourite streamers.

Shame, Empire is left with no Koreans in their roster now. But I guess he wasn't really posting any results recently.

They pick up VINES, did nothing with him, then drop him. I hope Empire picks up someone more reputably certain and takes more advantage of their players and their ability to play! They treat their players well, just wish they exposed them more.

VINES really did nothing too notable with Empire, so I think it was quite inevitable this would have happened. Hope he finds a team fairly soon.

VINES was about to break out in GSL Season 2, but then oGs disbanded. So much talent, sad that he went even more unnoticed on Empire than on oGs before. Hope he finds a new team, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him retiring soon.

Empire in need of some Protoss and Zerg blood. Their Terran line is solid though.

Yeah he's definitely a player with his peak still ahead of him. Should be an interesting player for a lot of teams, although if we've learned anything from the signings of Ganzi/Taeja, teams tend to go for big names rather than potential. Maybe Liquid could be interested?

I honestly forgot that Vines was in Empire. They did like nothing with him, if not actually nothing. Kind of unforunate because he's a pretty talented player. I learned how to FFE from watching him stream back then.

apparently his name was intended to be finesse, but there was an error or misunderstanding. That sort of explains the interesting pronunciation of his name in the open GSL seasons.
He did very well for Empire in team leagues, but it seems like he didn't get many (if any at all?) opportunities at individual competitions. Hopefully he finds a new home where he can strut his stuff more.

My thoughts exactly. The only time I ever heard about VINES during his time with Empire was when he signed and again today.

I think a 'better player' would want more opportunities (or an opportunity fullstop) to travel to tournaments. Not just play in online tournaments/qualifiers. Which is basically what Vines did during his time with Empire.

I don't understand why they let Welmu go and grabbed TheMista, or just have both...Welmu was on the up and up with Empire.
Anyways, hopefully VINES finds a new home and Empire makes some smarter player signings.
