Today is a good day at Infused as we have branched out across the seas and picked up a Canadian SC2 player. Joining us is female Protoss player Julia "Ailuj" Childress, who formerly played for Check Six
Julia was the first female to ever play on the MLG Mainstage, and ever since has continued to grow in popularity with the fans/players and became more known in the scene with everyone.
You will be able to see Julia competing at all MLG events from now under the "infs" tag, as we support her to continue growing and improve all aspects of herself in eSports.
Here's what Julia had to say:
"Ever since my previous team an I parted ways, I've been hping to find a new team that I could really relate with. Infused and I have very similar goals in mind and I think we're really going to work well together. I'm so excited to call myself a member of Infused and I can't wait to get to know the team better and grow with them! Thank you for this opportunity, I won't let you down."
You can keep up with Ailuj on the following media:
58mins 26 secs cuz fucking TL will not link specific times... (anyone know how to link specific times? a PM would be much appreciated!)
Holy shit, is anyone else sick of witchhunting? Its ridiculous how much hate there is in this community. Dont we all just want Esports to grow? Tasteless encourages you to stop being so critical (it doesnt make you smart, college does), stop flamming (it doesnt make you funny, jokes do), and stop hating (just fucking stop please).
Is Infused even a team? I think it is sad to see a girl being taken advantage of and lied to just because she is stupid. Infused isn't a team, who lied to her? Please don't warn me for this post.

What? Infused hosted Ziktomini Ourk and JonnyRecco, the 3 other upcoming English players. Know your facts yo

Do you know the situation and both parties? If not, that is a pretty bad post.

Well to be honest, I think she is only a diamond toss so I'm not sure that either party is really being taken advantage of here...
To me it just seems like a giant celebration of mediocrity, but hey, if they're happy then more power to them.
I would think bolstering your own team and player roster to participate in team leagues would be more important. edit: nonetheless, best of luck; I hope they proeprly advertise her and take advantage of the media improvement.
Congrats Julia. I watch your stream time to time & follow you on twitter. Keep it up.
Let's just be happy for her. She's the pure definition of a visible minority, dominated in a market of not-so-eye-pleasing guys. We should support her to encourage others.

I do not KNOW the circumstances, but I would have to guess that you were not signed because of your skill or dedication to starcraft 2.
This is an open board, we are allowed to express our opinions as long as we follow the rules.
I think the hate is a translation of confusion as to why they would prioritize signing a female player for immediate media short-term hits rather than increasing their team roster for more exposure in team-leagues and thus legitimacy amongst peers and spectators to grow a fanbase to eventually sustain recognition in the long-term

Honestly guys, who cares about why she was signed. The bottom line is that she is signed to represent this team now whether it be at lan events, on stream, or even in the game itself. In order to be signed initially, like she was with xsix, there must be something that people like in her whether it be game related or not. All the speculation is stupid. Accept it, congratulate her or just move on.
Hey, i'd just like to say Infused doesn't revolve around SC2 only... I understand the point a lot of people are trying to make, but currently it's not our only strategy to focus only on SC2 especially in regards to "Team Leagues". For now we would like to maintain a small and manageble presence within SC2 and continue to spread our name out to other communities we compete in such as DOTA2, Shootmania, CS:GO as well as our Call of Duty console brand Prophecy .
Esports and Gaming is a competitive and promotional business and together this partnership offers the organisation, our partners and Ailuj the support she requires.... As for people who don't know Infused, we are considered one of the top 3 Multi-Gaming Organisations from the United Kingdom, and we focus on multiple games, not just Starcraft 2..... Throughout our time we've found and developed a lot of the youthful British and European talents and helped them reach new heights in their gaming careers, whether as Casters, Reviewers, Gamers or Management.
Finally, I'd like to welcome Ailuj to the team and if anyone questions why she decided to join Team Infused after the disbanding of our friends at Check-Six (<3 @ Keyhunt) it is because we share the same views and mentality on several topics, and when the agreement and offer was made, it was the right opportunity for all parties involved from a business, promotion and playing perspective.

I have to admit it's disappointing to see people get recognition for things other than SC2 skill. I didn't like it when it was Eve on Slayers, I don't like it now. I see what's in it for the various teams, they can't afford real pros so they need people that have a gimmick to get recognition and increase their profile.
The simple fact that a sizeable percentage of the amateurs on these forums can beat a "pro" in a game is depressing.

What you say is true but can't hate on her for cashing in on her looks. Instead you can blame the sub-mediocre infused team looking to get more hits on theirs threads (working so far) and get more attention through her. Best of luck though i am obviously not a fan of either.

Her purpose is not to play good or achive anything. She is will be at the events to take attention and help them to get more sponsors via "gamer girl" image. It's just a super standart business move and both sides know it very well.

It should be interesting to note that if a diamond player attempted to join a team that was in the same situation as she is, except that they were male, would they be accepted so easily?
They point out that she was the "first female" player on the MLG mainstage, where her play was very suboptimal against Losira (anyone remember how she changed the map view with her left hand o_0 ). If she was a male instead, there wouldn't have been any attention given towards that event and obviously more snowballing into easier team signing.
Signing her was done from a PR standpoint. She can try to argue that she has the dedication, but dedication without results doesn't show much. Same thing with maximus'black (he isn't on maximus anymore is he?), they are on teams simply because they provide an entertainment service and PR for their team, but they don't come anywhere near the skill levels of the pros.

No American girl that attractive would ever reach Diamond. She'd be too busy dating, modeling, etc. But in Canada everyone is so spread out and sheltered, you get these sorts of weird cases where people develop contrary to how they would in society.
She runs a great stream and is pretty well known in the community. This will bring more awareness to Infused and their sponsors. Not every player has to be GSL code A+ to be a worthy asset to a team.... c'mon guys. Gratz to Juila and Infused.

I don't think so. I think it's jealousy and immaturity.
There is a continuum between the pure competitor who doesn't care about anything but winning (e.g. Major, Naniwa) and the pure personality, who is pure entertainment/promotion (e.g., Athene?). Ideally you want someone on a team that can gain viewership, attract sponsors and win tournaments, and represent whatever your team's ideals are (I added the last thinking about TL :D).
Ask yourself--is it harder to make a decent player who is a pleasant person into a competitive player, or to transform a sponsor's nightmare of a personality into a pleasant human? Neither is an easy proposition. But neither should be rejected out of hand as a poor team decision. In fact, while most team leagues would love to have a pure competitor on their roster for an ace match, many teams have also found that it's not worth taking the hit when they say or do something ridiculous.
Unless Infused mortgaged their entire future on a bet the Ailuj is going to win a GSL in the next 9 months, I think this is a solid pickup with tons of upside.
Best of luck to Ailuj and Infused.
EDIT: The no gender thing wasn't up when I hit post. Sorry if I touched on it, but I hope it was in a sufficiently mature way to avoid the banhammer.

Jokes aside, I don't understand the hate for Julia here. People don't hate on Geoff for being on a team, or MB, or Rotterdam, Painuser, etc etc... (well, aside from their usual anti-fans). If you're building a brand, what better way to get your name out there than to recruit a popular streamer who is also popular at events? This just seems like a case of jealous nerds being jealous.

Perhaps if it had been discussed in a mature, constructive manner, it might be worthwhile to allow that conversation.
It hasn't been.
It's not censorship of opinion, it's about keeping petty bitterness out of a thread where it really shouldn't be.
She has a market value more than some of the other players who might be actually better than her. Who cares if you are better than her if you have less market value? As long as she brings to the team more than she is paid for, then there is no problem at all. We all know that she is not gonna win GSL anyways, but that's not her job. Unlike, say, IM Mvp's, being absolute best of the best is not included in her job description, I believe. I wish her best of luck, and hope she is mature enough to ignore some hate messages in this thread. Weaker dogs tend to bark louder. Real boss dog doesn't care ^^.

Christ. Some of you need to grow up. Any discussion on the subject after this post will result in a mandatory temp ban.
That's just censorship of opinion, if people want to discuss that topic why can't they? As long as it's within team liquid site rules why is it a bad thing?
TL.net is not a government, it's a website. They can do whatever they want; get over it.
They've already made the disclaimer;
The opinions expressed by our users do not reflect the official position of TeamLiquid.net or its staff.
Just my thoughts on it. Nothing more.
So because of said disclaimer there is no need for any moderation even if there are extremely stupid comments about a subject like there are on this thread. You can call it censorship of opinion, I call it moderation.
The funny thing is, I said as long as it's within the rules of the Team Liquid website rules.
The actually funny thing is you seem to have missed the part about the mod note concerning moderation, not the disclaimer or the commandments.
I'm not bitter about it, congrats to her for being apart of a team.
However, Infused posted this on a forum dedicated to high end SC2 where top tier teams are prevalent, and they did it in a manner that you would see when a team acquires a new highly skilled pro. This begs the question of why? They're just flaunting their new player for PR, and openly admitting that they don't care if their players can produce tournament results.
What stops me from creating a team and inviting people of any skill level and posting about every new player and how they have a strong drive to play SC2?

I'm sorry to those of you who get so butt-hurt that someone you don't know gets support from a team, in which you don't know the circumstances, and literally does not affect you at all. You know these are people you're talking about, right? Who read your comments? Not sure why many people feel the need to be so hateful towards things that really don't affect them?
I do not KNOW the circumstances, but I would have to guess that you were not signed because of your skill or dedication to starcraft 2.
And who are you to question my dedication or passion for StarCraft 2?
I am a master player with all 3 races, not that it gives me any right to 'judge' you. I know what it takes to reach leagues higher than diamond, and if you cannot reach masters league, I would call that a lack of dedication and/or passion for the game.
I had to delete my first dozen attempts to respond to this because they were not civil.
You and many of the other posters in this thread are astonishingly condescending and lack the most basic humanity and empathy. I am sorry for you. Grow up.
I'm glad for Ailuj. You'd have to have passion for SC2 to put up with a community that says things like this. GL!
I don't understand the hate. Teams obviously want to sign people who can bring attention to their team and sponsors. For what reason this attention is gained i pretty irrelevant, it can be gaming skills, personality, gender etc. or a combination of any of these factors. You can't compare Julia with your everyday diamond player because she obviously has something beyond her gaming skills that garners attention from a team.
Remember that teams, at least professional teams, are businesses just like any other, and make strategic choices. There is tons of evidence to suggest that player skill is far from everything when it comes to fan following and attention. If this wasn't the case then pretty much every single popular player today would be a Korean who plays 24/7 in a team house.

because you wouldnt have sponsors and your team wouldnt be relevant at all. congratz to her anyways, its impressive that she is hot and she is diamond imo, probably she would be one of the best on a proportion beauty/skill.

Bolded part is exactly my point. I could have a team with no sponsors, but a personable/entertaining figure and it would draw attention anyways. Couldn't they just have posted an advertisement about their team and what they do? I had never heard of them before, and my first impression is that they only care about their image, not about their teams ability to perform in SC2.

People wonder why there isn't high level female players (excluding Scarlett if you consider her female) and then bash any team who signs one?
It's like most people think: "Let's just cut the legs out from any new female to the scene because they aren't top 10 GM so that none of them ever even have a chance, that'll show em. "

Good luck, and I'm glad to see females able to continue to be a part of the scene. Don't let the elitist masses get you down for your league or genitalia. Fuck em.
Just to get it out of the way, yes I do feel slightly jealous that a worse gamer than me is given better chances, but only very little since I have the common sense to 1) realize that there are approximately 1000 male gamers ahead of me in the "pro" line and 2) I am just a random masters player enjoying the game with no goals of participating in major tournaments. So don't give me some bullshit about being jealous or anything along those lines. I'll try to keep it civil though, but it is impossible to post in this thread if one is not allowed to touch upon her gender.

Being elitist has nothing with ones views of female gamers to do, I'd argue that you're the one being elitist by bringing it into this thread.
Personally I distress about Ailuj joining a pro team, because she basically built a career around that one time she randomly met a korean progamer in her first (?) round match at MLG and got featured on stage. According to people in this thread she is playing in diamond league and there are simply better female gamers out there who (based on skill) deserves finding a team more.
I would like it if one or more teams made an actual effort to pick up female gamers to help them achieve their highest level of play, instead of picking up female gamers solely for the buzz of it and considering how there are 'unknown' high master and GM female gamers out there, it is not impossible for a team to pick one up with the goal of actually using her for team leagues and minor cups.

Yeah, except Incontrol, Rotterdam, Painuser, and MaximusBlack have shown high level play at one point or another in their careers and have become community personalities afterwards (Incontrol winning WCG.USA in BW and doing well in early MLGs; Painuser doing well in early MLGs; Rdam for WC3; and MaximusBlack for general high level play). Your argument about recruiting a popular streamer to further ones brand can backfire, considering the posts (mine included) of this thread. All that said, the best luck to Ailuj and infs.
uhhh, what? Being elitist by pointing out that players who say not being master league shows you have no passion or dedication to the game? I don't think you understood my point, so I apologize for that. It is simply put, elitist to assume that 2 things having nothing to do with skill (passion and dedication) are dictated by your skill in the thing you're criticizing the passion and dedication of others in.
Example: You are not dedicated to the american way of life because you are not one of the 1%. I'm one of the 1%, it was easy for me to get there, it would be easy for you to as well! Just have some passion for getting there! Be dedicated to earning your way to the top! You obviously don't want it bad enough, you're happy where you are.
Note how this example shows one person deciding the otherwise subjective (objective? the one that depends on each individual's view) status of another, based on their ability to get somewhere that other person was able to get through little to no effort, disregarding all other things.
The thing about her being female is totally separate, and anyone judging based on that is a backwards thinking idiot, but that's not at all what I was pointing out. The comment about not allowing herself to be judged by her genitalia was another, additional statement as encouragement for her and her push to make her gaming career everything it can be.
Anyways, I'm drunk and need to stop posting. You guys have fun.

Veralynn is taking a rather methodical approach to competitive SC2 -- IIRC, she waited until making GM on EU before entering any tournaments, and she's stated that she needs to improve before she's ready to join a team.
This is going to come across as really brash, but I just don't get it.
If we didn't know what Ailuj looked like and only knew her record, a pro team wouldn't touch her with a 10 ft pole. She, last time I checked, was a diamond player and has been for a very long time. The only reason she is being picked up is because she is attractive and I feel bad for her.
There are several other female pro gamers that would do a lot more for women in esports than Julia. Hiring Ailuj only supports a stereotype against women and gaming that I find to be toxic at best.

Then why would it be a good idea to take someone lacking natural ability onto a pro team? His point is not that its easy to get to Masters, its that someone who isn't in Masters seems a questionable pick for a team, since chances are they either don't play enough, or don't have the talent for it.
But, perhaps there's just a much smaller talent pool to pick from for women at present, I don't know.
I have no idea who infused is but apparently they have a good dota team according to their webstie, took a game off navi. Aside from Aulij I have no idea who any of these sc2 players are though, so nothing to see here really

GL Ailuj.
Well not going to risk any kind of ban here as the discussion is marked off-limits, but disagree with that assessment.
Good luck with the team, learn from my fellow UK brethren! I know Lau's good and it's a good team for us British players to develop on. Hating on a player for taking an opportunity most of us would love to get is just in bad form and she seemed quite personable from what I saw when she played Losira at that MLG
If she got recruited, obviously the owners thought that it was worth it one way or another and that they were doing a great move.
I can guarantee you that at least half the haters on this thread had no idea who team infused was until now, ( I sure as hell didnt and i follow SC2 and play at high level a shit ton).
She is really marketable, and shes not that bad of a player either.
No achievements you say?
First female player to be in the booth on the main stage at MLG. Everyone talked about her that weekend. All the players were probably thinking * Holy sh*t who is that amazingly attractive girl in that booth? Team *X* uh... interesting...*.
Good pickup, and Im sure its not the biggest investment either, well worth it for both parties I can guarantee you that.
I bet Blight gaming wish *they* picked her up before them
I was a fan during Providence, but I had never heard much more about Ailuj until now. Grats and gl. That Nikoras guy that forcefielded Puzzle's immortals is another I remember.
Ok, like, I get that she's on a pro team and all, and that we should be happy for her. But isn't Diamond a bit too low of a rank to be joining pro teams with?

Not really, in reddit threads these comments get downvoted into oblivion and I have to go to the trouble of opening all the 'comment score below threshold' thingies to have a good laugh at jealous, bitter, lonely little guys.

Now we'll just look at facts, people aren't "butt hurt" it's the same as seeing someone in real life get an underserving job / promotion due to looks / gender people just don't like to see people get free rides for how you look, it's not out of jelousy it's out of other people working for what they get instead of having it handed to them for no reason.
You're dediction and passion? Let's examine you're dedication and passion shall we? Last 1v1 Ailuj played was 7 weeks ago where you played about 10 games, ok ok, 7 weeks? Ah maybe she took a break, was on vacation who knows lets dig further, ok before that it was another 4 weeks before any 1v1's .
I'm not quite sure that's on the same level of dedication and passion of people who typically get PAID to be on a team and that's why people would like to express opinions on this topic, not simply because they are "butt hurt".
Me myself personally, If I were on a team simply for my looks which from the context of all posts on this thread seems to be the clear cut reason of the signing here, I would be embarrassed to pretend it was for reason other than that especially claiming its for "dedication and passion".
My take on this thread, remember people have opinions which usually get discussed in forum threads, if you didn't want a discussion and to see people's opinions on the signing, why make a thread about it?

Yeah, how dare someone do research and back up their argument with facts?
Mods: are there any threads on TL that ARE a good place for a respectful discussion around gender in SC2? This doesn't seem like the place, but I'm not sure where else would be better.
Also, congrats Julia.
Edit: OK, I guess I should be clear. I do see a couple threads related to the issue but nothing from 2012. Should we revive an old thread for further discussion?

Also, this. Like, if we're not allowed to discuss important and relevant player attributes, what's the point of having a thread in the first place? Sure, some people are dicks. But the truth is that her Gender and attractiveness is quite relevant, given that they seem the major reason for her signing. Would it be weird to talk about Jrecco's TSL play, since that's why he got signed? Essentially it's the same thing.

It's more sexist to sign a player solely on the basis of looks and gender than it is to argue that a players signing should be based on merit.

You people QQing about people calling out the gender stratification here are retarded. She got signed because she's a girl. Not because she's good. She's in fucking diamond league FFS. Julia, QQ all you want, you got signed because you're attractive. Congratulations. I'm actually surprised you have the capability to take pride in such a thing when you know that's exactly what happened.
Hey, Mod that wrote the "How does it affect you?" disclaimer. It fucking affects the gaming community because a certain number of individuals who actually work hard to improve in this game and are actually skilled have a hard time making teams. It's a direct smack into the face of the SC community every time a girl gets signed because of her looks. It's happened to this particular one twice. You have the audacity to defend an extremely sexist gesture for what? Because it's "mean" state the truth? Get real. What's next, Tarababcock getting signed to IM? Where does it end?
ATTN: TL Mods banning people that simply want the continuity of SC2 gaming, and the community, to remain something that SKILLED gamers can be a part of. Way to set a heroic example

(Granted this is more an observation from past moderation as opposed to an actual rule we have somewhere.)
But to give two examples. A) Gun killing spree- the topic without exception devolves into the same old, tired gun control debate. So I've seen several similar topics just cut it off at the pass and direct people to discuss gun control in a separate thread. The topic simply morphs away from the original news post and turns every thread into a gun control debate. And people get pretty heated. It's a relevant side topic, but it becomes the only topic.
B) Female tournaments- without exception, they all turn into the same debate. Female tournaments do or do not limit females progress. And the tournaments are or are not sexist/ bad for the SC2 scene. And people get quite heated/nasty. The actual tournament get's left behind as we tread over the same tired ground. So again, it's probably better to block that avenue of discussion and direct it to it's own thread. Again, it's a relevant side topic, but it becomes the only topic.
So it seems to me, we're starting to run into this with everytime a female is signed on. There might be a time and place for arguing about how/why females are signed on to teams. But does every time a female get signed, do we need to turn THAT thread into the same topic, over and over again. Especially when people become heated/nasty.
Edit Actually even LR could also be seen in terms of that. Caster's may be doing a crappy job, but LR is not the place to complain about it. It turns every LR into caster bashing. Caster feedback where it's actual feedback and not heated needs to be in it's own thread. Same thing with balance whine in LR. Every LR would turn into balance whine (or maybe we're fighting the losing battle.) But in both cases, they are relevant side-topics, but they turn every LR thread into bashing and whining and it's pretty poor posting anyways. It's not like 'zerg imba' explicates anything of interest compared to a well thought out post and LR is a bad place for well thought out posts.
I remember seeing your very first televised game several months back. To have a professional team sign you is a great mark of progress and you have come a long way from then. I wish you the very best and hope for many great accomplishments in the road ahead.

Thank you Kyo.
Also thanks to the other positive comments on here so far, everyone ♥
I'm sorry to those of you who get so butt-hurt that someone you don't know gets support from a team, in which you don't know the circumstances, and literally does not affect you at all. You know these are people you're talking about, right? Who read your comments? Not sure why many people feel the need to be so hateful towards things that really don't affect them?
I do not KNOW the circumstances, but I would have to guess that you were not signed because of your skill or dedication to starcraft 2.
This is an open board, we are allowed to express our opinions as long as we follow the rules.
Which you ditttn, and you got a warn/temp-ban for it...
Anyways, congratulations to her, while this turning into a sexist thread is sad... I do hope she reads between the lines..."You are pretty"... aaaand that's probably all she can get out of this thread...Hope she can show some good results and shut people up.
I don't think you understand what sexism is... The signing is sexist. People arguing that based on merit, she doesn't deserve it are right, if perhaps a little naive into how the business world works, even in esports.
edit: obviously those who are just spouting random bullshit like get back in the kitchen are sexist morons, but i'm not speaking about those people because it's obvious to a rational human being that they are in the wrong

I just want to make sure I understand: the post you linked to is if we have concerns with the moderation of the thread, correct? Can you also link to a thread where it IS acceptable to discuss gender and SC2 (or, if necessary, suggest where one could be created and under what conditions)?
In theory (big emphasis on theory) one would have to actually make that thread similar how we have one Balance Discussion thread to collect all balance discussion and one Gun Control thread to collect all gun control. My hesitancy to outright recommend that this theoretical thread be made is that I can easily it becoming one of THOSE threads. The gong show thread and a ban trap at that. People get really personal and really nasty/heated really quickly.

Isn't the point of having a thread like that supposed to be that the ban-hammer rules are a little more relaxed and an actual discussion among adults can take place? I'm confident the moderation staff can easily separate flaming posts and reasonable, logically driven, posts. As ETT has so clearly done in this thread, right? Right. THAT'S the point

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying it's best not to make the thread about it here because it's very possible it'd be impossible to moderate, or are you saying someone could try to make the thread but it could easily get closed down? Sorry, I really don't mean to hijack this thread but I'm interested in the discussion.
Very top of the website it says "progaming news", last time i checked she isnt even semi pro, no offense but this thread shouldnt exist in the first place. Why does she deserve a thread over the other hundreds of diamond players?

I'm saying I'm one banling with a suggestion and I don't want to be the guy everyone points to if it goes south Covering my tale, yo.
But the non-suggestion part is to follow the mod note at the top and to take mod complaints to website feedback.

Save your pitchforks for when (yes, when, not if) this thread makes frontpage for some magical reason.
Then again by the real definition of "professional" she may very well be professional technically (having made money from doing this activity).
I got a free lunch coaching someone sc2 once, thus I am a pro... /infallible_logic
Personally I feel that 'semi-professionally' should cover up and to 'exclusive income sustaining your expenses', but that's just semantics.

Because she is a professional starcraft 2 player now. Whether or not she deserves that position or can compete with any other professional is irrelevant, she will be paid on a regular basis to represent a sponsored sc2 team and that makes her a 'pro'.

Yeah, that would certainly mean she is professional. But a professional "player"? No. She does not get paid to play this game professionally. She is getting paid to be a face on a team that has people that play this game "professionally". Actually, in this team's case "Semi-professionally"
As with any signing, best of luck in the future. I think the only games I've seen from you were against Losira and to be frank, you played quite awful. Hopefully with the new signing you dedicate more time towards trying to make some good results and everything.
Of course there is going to be a lot of negativity in the thread towards you, but one way to silence the "haters" is to just actually keep improving and doing well. Again, best of luck!

Sounds like you are referring to mascots....
Congrats on the signing, hopefully they can find some diamond/master level tournaments for you to represent them in.
Guys, I went out a limb and posted some thoughts in a separate thread so as not to derail any more congratulations for Julia. If you want to see it, you can search for "gender".
By the way, (I swear it's not a troll..) What is her current league / rank ?
If i remember correctly, she was a Diamond NA player when CheckSix gaming hired her ? And now that it's been a few months since then, I'd like to know if she has improved : Is she still in Diamond or got promoted to Master ?

Thanks.
She hasnt actually been playing sc2, judging by the x6ailuj account
The team decides who they want. Besides, I'm sure she will improve in SC2 if she practices on a daily routine and practices often on certain builds etc. with her team mates. Cheers!

We did not see her improve when she were "playing" for check6. Correct me if I am wrong, but she IS (still) a diamond player on NA.

Spread out and sheltered in Vancouver? One of the most populated and multicultural places in North America? I'm not sure what you're trying to attain with this post but that is an odd thing to say. Some attractive girls grow up doing things other than fashion and modeling, dontcha know.
I love you Julia, I watch your stream when its on. I hope you become as good or better than Scarlett. GOGOGOGO JULIA HWAITING!

Mainaccount is barely active (1v1) since season 2 and remained Diamond. Her other account "Vivid" is gold 1v1.

The VOD from her streaming 3 days ago has the Vivid account as rank 34 diamond in 1v1 once she logs in. It had around 200 bonus pool and 28 wins this season so I wouldn't call it "active", but if you're going to have a discussion about rank it should at least be factual.
I'm honestly interested to hear what Ailuj's goals are within e-Sports and Starcraft. She doesn't seem to be practicing a lot so I wonder what she can gain from InFused. Of course this is a great pick up by InFused and congrats to them for picking up a big personality in Starcraft II.

i agree, i saw her stream a long time ago, and it looks like she is still in diamond... so what's her goal : fame, skill, or just playing sc2 for fun ?
