The numbers themselves don't really mean much, but they allow us to see a trend. And in this case we can see that the viewer numbers have been mostly steady in the last few months after a noticeable decline in May. Back then it has been speculated that Summer is to blame.

The numbers depend a lot on the competition. Going head-to-head with The International sure didn't help TSL's viewership.

Stephano is consistently the most popular streamer no matter where he streams from - Korea, EU or NA. This past week he has been the most popular SC2 streamer while streaming from the EG House.

Thank you for your hard work and diligence despite rl obligations.

Perhaps I overlooked from where you get the viewer statistics, but are the viewer numbers solely taken from people who watch the stream via TL or does watching directly from TwitchTV, etc. count, as well?

Teamliquid takes the viewer numbers straight from the streaming sites, so it doesn't matter where you're watching the streams from. I could do the same to get slightly more accurate numbers, but that's way more work than just taking them straight from TL.
