These are the total numbers of viewers watching a SC2 player stream in a given month (so I'm excluding casters, events and other games):
The numbers themselves don't really mean much, but they allow us to see a trend. And in this case we can see that the viewer numbers have been mostly steady in the last few months after a noticeable decline in May. Back then it has been speculated that Summer is to blame. I'm guessing you missed seed and Losira making 27th and 30th respectively on the average viewers list, unless due to sponsorship, LG IM is now considered a foreign team, if so my apologies. If you also meant only player to make BOTH lists my apologies as well, as those 2 only appeared on average viewer lists. Whoops, my bad. You're quite right, somehow I missed the two IM players. I'll fix the OP. Still, there's less and less Korean team players streaming every month. :/ On September 04 2012 00:17 SarkON wrote: Guys do you know the numbrs of TSL4 streams? I'm under impression they dropeed quite significantly compared to other tournaments as well as TSL3. Is it correct? I don't have any numbers for TSL3, but here's the numbers for TSL4 so far:
The numbers depend a lot on the competition. Going head-to-head with The International sure didn't help TSL's viewership. Also, I'm sorry guys that I'm not presenting numbers like these in a more pretty format in the OP. Life's keeping me too busy to do that currently. :/

This past week he has been the most popular SC2 streamer while streaming from the EG House. Amazing to see how well Apollo is doing too.

Perhaps I overlooked from where you get the viewer statistics, but are the viewer numbers solely taken from people who watch the stream via TL or does watching directly from TwitchTV, etc. count, as well?

Yeah, you're right. Will fix it soon. On September 04 2012 04:22 Arkansassy wrote: Thank you for your hard work and diligence despite rl obligations. Teamliquid takes the viewer numbers straight from the streaming sites, so it doesn't matter where you're watching the streams from. I could do the same to get slightly more accurate numbers, but that's way more work than just taking them straight from TL.

Idra is the second most. You can see the figures. http://sc2streamnumbers.com/ If they both stream at the same time from the EG Lair, you will see that their respective figures bear this out.
