Ok so it was his recent win (I know about that system). MaNa is a beast among foreigners no doubt, I just didn't expect him, if anyone besides Stephano (who's already said he won't be participating in the GSL anytime soon) I'd expect Nerchio. I'll still be rooting for MaNa, he's a cool dude and hopefully he can smash some faces

Seed, symbol, byun, nestea, Mc, Taeja, DRG and naniwa have already secured their spots in code S due to making the RO8 or higher last season.

I think it would be sensible to offer up a spot (or two) to someone who did well in WCS but didn't qualify for OSL. Avoid schedule overlap and continue to keep things interesting in the transition stage.
Otherwise I could see maybe Nerchio and Alicia being offered spots, but I don't see Nerchio taking one and I don't know if serial runner up quite cuts it.

Used to be "good". I remember him beating a string of Korean Terrans in a row. I Don't think he's had that kind of success for a while, but it's never been a weak point of his play, like his PVZ often is. He's up against some pretty damn good Terrans, although all of them are prone to ordinary play at times, apart from maybe jjakji, so wo knows.
