Sorry but ToD isn't a nice pick up ... OK he is a Star and everybody knows him, but his performance are not good at all. For example HSC V where he didn't pass the group stage after a long time in Korea.
Then he had the opportunities to Qualifie to the MSI Pro cup through the MSI Pro Cup French Qualifier where he lost against KenZy and recently (this week) against AureS (who's know playin' only for fun ...).
But May be he'll have a Booost and become good with ROOT ? I don't know, wait & see

I hope he'll train hard and succeed in SC2, it's a shame that such a huge player didn't win anything in SC2, besides ex-WC3 pros are doing well (better than former BW pros :p), and he was one of the best !

What is a nice pick up? A player that gets in sponsors! What player gets in sponsors? A player that is well known, sparks interest and is somewhat special!
Now ask yourself: How many of those are available?
Then you'll agree: nice pick up!

Take Stephano out and it's about even between WC3 and BW. Include Koreans and BW absolutely crushes WC3.

Unexpected, but that is a very nice pickup. I also expect it to be a good fit in the long run.

Top Terrans: ThorZaIN (WC3) Kas (WC3) Demuslim (WC3) Illussion (No former career, played Special Force competetivley) Major (BW) (Happy, Lucifron are also from wc3, but the dont really have that impressive results so didnt include them)
Top Zergs: Stephano (WC3) Nerchio (BW) Ret (BW) Sen (BW) Sheth (BW)
Top Protoss: Naniwa (WC3) SaSe (WC3) NightEnd (WC3) Grubby (WC3) Mana (BW)
As far as I'm aware there aren't really that many former korean wc3 pros besides Moon, Lyn, Ven, Violet and Polt.
