Wtf, you can't break the SaSe + Naniwa couple like this .
EDIT: And I doubt he goes to Startale. He would get the same training conditions, but his salary would be a lot lower (if he gets any salary at all, I don't know how Startale manage their players). As for the other foreign teams, there's not much choice left. I don't think EG or TL would take him in (well, maybe EG but I'd be surprised) because of his bad manners related to teams in the past. They are too professional for that.

Op needs to update that Sase and Nani might have had a fallout based on the twitter thing someone said, it might seem minor but as far as I can see it might be part of whats going on here.

hmmm, wonder whats going to happen to sase cuz they are really good friends. Really wondering what team will pick him up, maybe a Korean team?

And as expected a tsunami of bullshit washes over a thread about NaNiwa. People just love to hate.

Naniwa cries balance daily and is NOT a good fit for Liquid in my opinion especially when naniwa bitches about zerg instead of typing "gg" in liquid's very own tournament. Liquid'nani definitely not gonna happen for at least the following 10 years.

mTw, SK.Gaming or Fnatic, think about that

He already dismissed this on twitter, also it would make no sense to leave quantic then.

Sad to see this happen, I think Naniwa was able to mature a lot in his short time with Quantic. Also, he is leaving his main buddy Sase behind on Quantic. Hope Nani has a good plan, can't wait to see him in GSL again next season! gogo Johan!

People really think this is unexpected? Dignitas, Complexity and now Quantic. I wonder who his next target will be....

I'd say EG and Team Liquid are out, and so are the Korean teams. The smaller ones are out, too, cause he's too good (and too expensive) for that. So who's left to take him? Millenium (with stephano soon leaving), Mouz, Fnatic, Empire, Dignitas. These are the teams I could see him go to. Acer could use a non-Zerg, I guess. I'll be following Nani to whichever team he goes. So far in SC2, I'm more of a fan of players than teams, so :D

I can't believe there are actually people suggesting Liquid`Naniwa.
Anyway odd that he's leaving a team again.

It's possible, but Korean teams from what I understand don't exactly like BM, team hopping players. Naniwa has a bad rep in Korea from what I can tell. I don't see many Korean teams taking the risk of signing him... even if he is Code S.
|
I don't see any korean team picking him up. They tend to not forget things like the blizz cup issue. The only reasonable explaination for this would be him retiring completely. But why now, as he established himself in Code S nicely? Strange move, wonder what'll happen next...

wow this totally suprised me didnt think he leave

I bet Naniwa decided to put a third probe on gas. Things got tense after that.
My guess would be Fnatic. They're well established in Korea now and are one of the few teams that could probably afford him

I must have missed that tsunami. I see one of exaggeration and another of confusion. No bullshit though. Unless you are referring to your own reference to a "tsunami of bullshit." Then, yes I agree. But, I think it is a little bit of a stretch to refer to your one statement as a "tsunami."

I honestly don't know what team nani can go to... between his WC3 career and his SC2 career he has burned pretty much every bridge in terms of existing teams.
I think he may end up going the personal sponsorship route.
