I feel that Startale will be the obvious team choice for him. Asides from ST, hard to say cause I don't think any big NA team will end up picking him up.

Umm with naniwas behavior he would be kicked out of a kespa team in under a week. Honestly I think he'll have to go to a small foreign team who will risk having him on the team in exchange for getting some publicity from it. I highly doubt any major team will take him at this point.

It least he left on good terms. Hoping to see a mature Naniwa from now on

No major team will want a regular Code S player?

No, because I'm sure they've all heard the stories or have first hand expirience with how awful he is to deal with and how much negative attention he also brings. It's similar to how if savior started playing SC2 you could say "no major team will pick up a BW champion?"

Thats a bit apples to oranges. Just being a champion in BW doesn't make them a SC2 champion. I'm saying Naniwa is a proven player who has shown his ability to stay with the best in the scene. He has a pretty large fanbase also. Given that he left on good terms with Quantic too, helps him a lot.

People are blowing this whole "many teams" thing completely out of proportion. Yes, he's been in quite a few more teams than most players. But notice how most of those were in 2010, where we had half a year of SC2, and Naniwa was much more immature and much less of a player. I'm not claiming he definitely doesn't have some attitude issues, because.. well, it's Naniwa. But let's not go overboard here. He's been in the same number of teams since 2011 as players like TT1, drewbie, Nerchio, and less than Naama - not to mention probably a whole lot of Koreans.

And yet, because of his very turbulent start, "everyone" remembers Naniwa as the guy who always changes teams.

Oh, and do people really think Idra has any clue as to whether Naniwa will or won't get another team? He's certainly one to speak when it comes to being bad for PR, while still being half the player.

He's been on almost all the top foreign teams except Liquid (zero chance Nazgul goes for a player with so little professionalism and manners) and Mouz.

Why would you arbitrarily ignore some years? The only difference between Naniwa of no and and of is that's he's not terrible now.

oh yeah! mouz actually makes sense, i feel like they would be prepared to take the risk of naniwa, after all as long as he doesn't go completely overboard being eccentric is usually good for getting attention to the team and it's sponsors!

It is possible that Nani is going to go free agent instead and that might actually fit him much better.

idra was right, i highly doubt wuantic complained when nani asked to leave. inf act, he probably left because his contract was up soon and he knew they wouldnt rewnew it. simply a pr move. i hope nobody picks him up, there are way more deserving players out there.

Sarcasm: You're right.. it's so easy to stay in code S 3 seasons in a row with the current system (that is, not bo1 as it was before when some non-koreans could manage with luck).

There are way more deserving players.... hmm... Actually none other than Naniwa that has done this....... I rest my case !

big deal, he made ro8 in code s twice after being given a sypmathy spot. If anything he simply earned what he was already given and nothing more. doesnt news like this make you think a little? naniwa used to be dignitas, and dignitas just picked up an unknown sc2 talent who 3-1ed nani in the tsl. nani has piss poor attitude and really, no huge championships to his name. no team will give him what he wants, because what he wants is not what he deserves.

Hey we're not talking about IdrA here, we're talking about Naniwa...

idra has actual fans though, sponsors like exposure. naniwa's only exposure comes from acting a fool time and time again

But... that is exactly how Idra got his fans. By BMing and acting like an idiot in tournament games.

not really. im not an idra fan but he has so many fans because usa supports him and understand that deep down he is a good person. at live events idra interacts with his fans and is an all around good guy. naniwa is a self-interested troll who ignores/denigrates his fanbase and disrespects tournament organizer after tournament organizer and team after team. if naniwa attitude is all some kind of 'badboy' act to gain fans like idra than he has the wrong idea. anwyays, you're from sweden, whatever. you guys have so many better players worth the attention including sase who IMO has outperformed naniwa as of late.

Whatever, you're from USA. I'm not defending Naniwa, just saying, it's silly to act like Idra hasn't done basically the same things in the past. He only recently became an all around good guy, but before Naniwa came along, Idra was the top dog of douchebags in the starcraft community. Also, the only reason he stopped being an asshole is because he no longer has the results to back up his BM, if he did get results, he would definitely be talking the same shit.
