They should probably just send him straight to the WCG main tournament as Defending Champion though? Kinda weird not to have the defending champ there. Well the WCG Korea tournament picks the three representatives of Korea each year, top 3 of the tournament go to the grand finals. You can't just seed the previous winner in every year since you only get 3 spots into the finals It's not really fair to the other players. If Mvp earns it by winning WCG Korea again ( or anywhere in the top 3 ) he can go back to defend his title. WCG Korea is actually much harder to win than the WCG grand finals themselves. although Marineking and Supernova did not actually make it to the finals of the WCG last year, getting eliminated before they got there by foreigners. Mvp ended up carrying the flag for Korea winning both tournaments. Unless WCG came up with some new rule that the winner of the previous year gets seeded in again and skips any nationals, and still gives 3 spots to WCG Korea it doesn't really make sense. It's silly that only 3 people from a country so full of talent get to represent Korea in the finals, but I guess that keeps it more fair for foreigners and keeps WCG what it's supposed to be about.

No, it will be 13 Kespa + 17 Non-Kespa = 30 players qualifier round 1 -> 15 players + MVP = 16 players qualifier round 2 -> Final 3 goes to WCG

But 30 players --> 15 will be different. Can't do Dual tournament. I guess they can have 5 groups of 6 and do round robin and top 3 advances? Or they can do 1v1 but would seem weird. Also, it seems the schedule will be Kespa on 27th, Groups 1-9 non Kespa on 28th, Group 10-17 non Kespa on 29th (all FXO, Slayers are in these groups to avoid conflict with GSTL)

(sorry if noobie question )OGN did the production for WCG Korea last year but it was also streamed on GOM, all the vods were ( and still are ) free. You can find them on GOM's website. GOM is broadcasting WCS Korea so OGN might do WCG to split the workload, I don't think anyone knows for sure yet.
