It would be nice if all the premier/major tournament built up to one titanic event.
Well they kind of do, that's what the Blizzard cup was. Inviting the champions of lots of tournaments and the top of GSL points, which are the GSL champions.
They ought to be hard qualifications across a wide range of tournaments: the winner of Dreamhack gets a spot, the winner of GSL4 gets a spot, the winner of IPL4 gets a spot, etc.

It all seems very biased, everyone is trying so hard to protect Kespas interests. I guess it's necessary though, we do need Kespa to successfully integrate into SC2 to bring over the BW viewerbase..
One group has a few weeks of full sc2 practice, the other has 2+ years. I think it's fair; if the GSL players fall behind it's due to lack of skill, not starting 2 years behind the other group of players.

GSL winners 1-5 get a spot Winner of final MLG event gets a spot (on the scale of providence) Winner of final IPL event gets a spot (assuming each IPL event gets bigger) winner of final dreamhack gets a spot (assuming each DH event gets bigger) MVP of winning team in SPL and GSTL and IPLTAC get a spot

that would be awesome~
Let's not get too ahead of ourselves guys. Remember, because of wcs korea, gom is going to be down a month when it comes to casting sc2. I would be surprised to see them finish a fifth gsl season by the end of the year at the pace they are going. =/ Honestly, it doesn't bother me too much either, longer tournaments = bigger buildup = not crap finals. XD
