Well you can rule out EG if he leaves due to their partnership with SlayerS? xD User was warned for this post

Yes we all want to know what happened, but there's really no point in speculating over what actually happened and preemptively pointing fingers at people :\

I'm really surprised by the suddeness of all of this, but I want to hear the "official" reason. Not the unsupported speculations....

it could be something simple like MMA failing to make the slayers qualifiers (slayers has an internal system that mirrors gsl with promotions and demotions just like gsl). if he fell out of the slayers equivalent to code a the consequence could be him having to leave the house.

MMA has already proven himself to be a world class player and furthermore if you were to compare him with his current teammates, I don't see a skill gap at all, to be honest. Additionally, if you were to look at the money that MMA has brought the team compared to any of the other players (Excluding Boxer, of course), I'm pretty sure that all of the players combined do not equal MMA's earnings. According to SC2Ranks.com, $174,715 was made by SlayersMMA, placing him 4th in the overall top earners list, topping even the likes of DRG. If you take that figure and compare it to the next highest SlayerS earner, Alicia, you see that his $41,225 pales in comparison. Regardless of any "slump" that MMA could be in right now, either MMA did something extremely terrible to deserve his punishment, or an extremely amateur business decision was made to ignore the extra cushion their 'cash cow' should have earned while being seemingly unbeatable for around 4-6 months in 2011. It's got to be one of the two.

I just feel like considering the things Boxer has said about MMA in the past, he expects a lot from him. Also consider, MMA was a b-teamer on SK-T. Not sure if that reinforces or refutes your opinion, but thought I'd add that. On July 17 2012 13:03 pdd wrote: Thing is SlayerS are actually quite a small team (particularly, as of recently and if you don't count the countless SlayerS clan members). Also there haven't really been any notable demotions due to bad practice performances/internal rankings. Min, CoCa and Taeja (I believe he was at the house forawhile) are the only three who were at the house and left at some point. Both Min and Taeja left on their own accord while CoCa was forced out due to the Byun incident. I find it very unlikely that he was just demoted due to poor results and practice performances. This is actually good point, Alicia was on the B-team earlier this year wasn't he? And afaik he was still living in the team house to train his way out of the slump. So if I'm remember correctly, being removed from the team-house wouldn't just be performance related. On July 17 2012 15:32 JerKy wrote: Well, he's still bound to his SlayerS contract isn't he? Maybe somewhere in there it says something about attire (bit of a stretch) GSL rules say you can only wear your team jersey or a generic Blizz/SC2 shirt. Although I think they've relaxed that rule some, lately.

His attitude was pretty obvious when Ryung won their last GSTL match for them and he just stood their with his arms folded while everyone else was clapping and hugging Ryung. Looking forward to learning some more details.

Looking forward to learning some more details. It's not that surprising that he got moved to the B-team, but remember, he is still one of the 4 remaining Slayers players in this GSL (everyone else has been knocked out). What is surprising is that he got kicked from the house, and is looking to join a new team. That's surprising, and few could have predicted that happening.
