You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.

Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence.

I already put a replay here where Maplez is cheating and Nathanias said hacks dont exist. I think both of these guys are part of the problem. The funny part is they removed my post about maplez where he was admiting cheating (you still can see blank posts page 522). It is the joy of knowning somebody in this website. I got 0 notification that they edit my post and removed my msgs (i just noticed), what a lame moderation.

Here is the replay. Hopefully, my msg wont turn blank in couple of weeks where MAPLEZ cheats:

There is a difference between HACKING and opening someones stream, which is why you keep getting warned. I don't hack. Did I open your stream to blatantly piss you off more? Yes, because you were raging the other 5 games I actually beat you in, and I thought it would be funny. Did I think you would be upset to this extent? No. I dont sit here all day and open streams. Im sorry that you're so upset about this.

Also to clear any confusion, there is an actual map hacker who is using my name, Nathanias's name, Neebs' name, and barcodes. There are replays out there, and Ive played him myself.

Also pinky is like a 4.7 player who doesnt know what observers are. I beat him with my eyes closed.

Did I think this would get blown out of proportion to this extent? No. I obviously regret this decision now because of all the attention its gained, but please stop being a snowflake about a game that happened months ago.

End of topic, I dont hack.

That's fine, but I wouldn't keep trying to stream on twitch because if you keep doing it they will ban/suspend you for stream cheating.

It's clearly outlined in their ToS that if you are harassing other streamers through stream cheating and other avenues and you get reported for it, you will get banned/suspended.

Hacker: Maplez_
Description: Such game sense @ 4:40. The guy pretends to not hack but his blind counters (i.e. making shields in his main and running his oracles directly to my Basnhee) clearly this is getting absurd.

Funny, how he mentioned "Pinky doesn't know what observers are and he beats me with his eyes closed". Well you have both things wrong here, buddy: You didn't make one obs and you lost in this replay - and still hack. There are many replays of your ridiculous gameplay hacking.

https://drop.sc/replay/13425054

EDIT: I have more of you hacking as well, but can't run the replays b/c Blizzard is working on fixing a bug on 4.12.0.79998 that make replays unplayable.

He's been admitting to stream sniping, but I think that's just a cover for map hack. I agree after watching the replay, i think any reasonable player would have assumed banshee much sooner.

Not literally the timing of both robo and battery to deflect it, while staying economical.

You guys are absolutely right. Getting lucky & running 2 oracles into a banshee at 4:40 obviously means something fishy

Have a good day, you win.

When you think someone hacks, its easy to find “evidence”, but you don’t include the other times when they did the same thing but didnt blind counter a build

I've played this guy for the past year and he has never been banned. Finally he popped up and gave me a game where he is so blatantly map hacking it isn't even funny. Watch his camera, you'll see he never scouts past hatchery, multiple times has his camera locked as he is looking through the fog at my base, amoves to bases he never scouted, and counters units he never scouts.. This is also a masters player yet somehow can't macro and micro at the same time. You'll see a solid two minutes of him not touching anything in his base as he stares at the attack on my third.

I'm on the cusp of Diamond 1 and 2, and map hacking is very prevalent. In recent times, about 1 out of 4 games is against a map hacker on a new account. This is a pretty conservative estimate, as I'm giving a bunch of the people benefit of doubt. I'm talking about screen lock, instant finding a hidden expo without searching anywhere else, etc.

There's no point in reporting these guys even, as they'll just make another account. Unless Blizzard implements a way where I don't have to play against new accounts or actually tries to actively fight hacking, I'm done. I've played Starcraft since Brood War and really enjoyed the heck out of it. Unfortunately the dark times have been around like this for a while now, and I tried to get through it, but I'm finally just done.

Uninstalled and goodbye, you win hackers.

You need to report these players. People are easily identified via hotkeys and spam patterns, across smurfs.

By posting the replays of everyone you suspect of hacking, we can build a thorough database of the hackers in sc2.

I've been playing Starcraft for over 20 years. I've been Masters 1 and A- in iCCup. I'm in my mid 30's and have a kid on the way. I played for fun casually and do not care about rank. I'm not as fast as I used to be, nor do I care for the stress. However, after all this time, I can identify a map hacker. People like you are also why the game is so unpleasant to play now. It certainly is a good thing that I uninstalled.

I report them every time on Bnet, and I'm sure they get banned because it's blatantly obvious. Like I said before though, these are all new accounts. They just get banned and make a new one, and Blizzard does nothing to stop this. It's a futile effort.

I've literally never played vs a cheater before and today played vs my first.

Extremely blatant, goes 2 marine first and clicks on my ov through fog of war, then runs back to kill a ling.

Doesn't scout for the entire game then makes 2 blind bunkers, blind banshee AND blindly pulls a bunch of workers to repair his bunkers BEFORE he even sees my roaches.

He then says he has played vs me and I always roach allin him, and says his name is Frost, whom I have never heard of. This was also the first game I played on this account today and I rarely roach allin. Very funny.

He then continues to not scout at all, and makes blind turrets and a blind thor vs muta tech he has not seen.

He tracks my mutas through fog of war to the south base with his units, then moves to intercept lings moving to his north base.

Extremely blatant, not much debate on this one I'm afraid.

Hello all,

I wanted to share a replay that I posted on reddit of a confirmed maphack for visibility.

For some context:

"As I am watching the replay, I thought that I would take notes on anything I see that looks seriously suspicious.

The first thing that I noticed is that the barcodes scouting with the overlords is dreadful and they are not even bothering to check whether you expanded. Even with the opening pool first from you, and the attack you commit to, your opponent does not care about scouting to see whether you expanded or if you are sending more units across the map. They are just blindly droning up, and this is a correct call because you are, in fact, not getting more aggressive. This does look suspicious but at 4.2k MMR it's hard to read too much into this because maybe it is just a massive mistake by your opponent.

At the 3:10 mark, your opponent does do something that I think is very weird. You have an overlord at the side of your opponents natural, they do not have any vision of it, and it's an uncommon position, and despite this, your opponent sends his queen over to where the overlord is to prevent it from being able to get vision.

As the game progressed the complete lack of scouting was very odd (they did not even have overlords rallied around the edges of their base; all the overlords were rallied to the dead space in between the natural and main: people are usually not this incompetent at this mmr).

After he killed your third and your evos with the attack and he backed off, I think that the movement of his roach army very much mirrored your movement, even though he had zero ideas as to where your army was. Also, your opponent began to look at the exact position your army was stationed to, in my opinion, check it out and see whether he could take it on.

Then we come to that last fight and the sniping of the creep tumours. I think that this move, right here, is the final nail in the coffin and is the last shred evidence we need to say that this player was a map hacker. I feel very confident to say that your opponent is not that good at the game, and is nowhere near the level where you can guess the exact location of creep tumours, especially when the creep tumours are not perfectly spaced out. And since your potato of an opponent managed to do something that Serral would find near impossible, I think that is very fair to say that your opponent is, first of, really bad at the game and that they are very clearly hacking (and their hacks allow them to play at this MMR)."
