In the second example, shown below, the hacker never scouts and moves to expansions blindly without first scouting them. At 17:45 he even moves his army to defend a muta attack in his main base, and he doesn't even have observers or any other units scouting for him! This guy is clearly a hacker, albeit a VERY terrible SC2 player. Blizzard pls do something about this. I knew that protoss can't continue to stay on this tech - only thing that i could not break were dts, i just notice this and build that raven trying to hope that protoss is stupid enough to not build any colossi, and I was right, you commited to dts and u lost trying to get another free win with broken units. But I think terran players shouldnt defend any cheesy protoss builds, because if terran defends - all protosses starts QQing everywhere calling everybody - maphackers, so l2p and stop QQing, pathetic race... | ||

2:00 Scouting SCV is sent to the proxy gate, as well as one other location. The path of the SCV is not rigorous at all and can not actually see a proxy gate if it was in a slightly different location. Not suspicious on its own, but similar patterns were exhibited in very suspicious ways. 4:00 Bunker built on ramp despite only seeing a zealot. Reasonable and not suspicious. 5:30 A damning piece of evidence exists here. Sterben has not scouted a single bit, not even to see whether additional units were created from the gateways. While his choice of a widow mine is not absurd, the positioning of it in the mineral line is extremely suspicious. Note that the gateway proxy is in the area below the main base of Sterben. Why would Sterben position his widow mine to deflect an oracle coming from the right side? Why does he unload his marines from the bunker, as if he knew there were no gateway units coming, in order to completely deflect an oracle he didn't have definite knowledge of? Neither of these are suggested by information that might have come from outside the game. Even if he would want to counter an oracle that is only possible, that positioning is highly suspicious, as the oracle could easily be on the left side of the map, and it is even suggested by the game as it would be more convenient to place the stargate next to the already proxied pylon. 6:30 Another damning bit of evidence, which is even supported by the defendant. The accuser expanded immediately after losing the oracle and Sterben IMMEDIATELY salvages his bunker. However, there could have just as easily been a 3 gateway + void ray attack just about to push up his ramp, in which case he'd need the bunker. Additionally, as I said, Sterben even gives evidence that he would blindly assume the opposite. When he says No stalkers from proxy gate - it means that protoss teching up or building nexus, i dont believe in mid master protosses, so - they are cheesing as usual. He says that the protoss is likely cheesing. A proxy oracle into expand is a greedy + tech play, and is not particularly suggested in-game. A cheese would be the aforementioned 3-gate stargate attack, which would look exactly the same due to a lack of scouting. This means he is countering exactly what he doesn't expect his opponent to do. His attitude upon arriving in this thread- confident and defensive- proclaims that he was playing intelligently in this game, so he should not have been doing what he thought wouldn't work. 8:30 Sterben sends his medivac to the stargate. He doesn't look around for it, but simply sends it there and brings it back immediately. You can not argue that he wouldn't do this because of the phoenix, because he knows the phoenix is there. Additionally, he has barely left his base but is getting a raven against DTs. This is suspicious but, by itself, not conclusive. 10:00 He moves his tank/marine army back in response to a red blip on the minimap which had appeared less than a second before. Odd behavior. 11:45 The scan despite having a raven moment. Unless he completely forgot he had a raven, the only satisfying explanation is that he knew there was a DT and was trying to find it. Or maybe he was trying to land a manner MULE and messed up. In conclusion, the events at 5:30 and 6:30 strongly suggest a production hack and a minimap hack, and unusual movements in other parts of the game only reinforce this. | ||

Server - NA League - Diamond Replay - http://drop.sc/390107 Starts the game off by attack moving a marine towards an overlord he doesn't have vision of. Then throws down two bunkers to counter a handful of speedlings immediately after without scouting. He then goes into fast four CC and 6-8 starport hellion/banshee/raven/viking. Before this he makes a push with a handful of marines and hellions, scans the highground to kill an overlord he doesn't have vision of and never saw it position itself then continues to position his units and intercept my units with zero vision. I end up winning but still..this is absurd how obvious he makes it. Very strange stuff. | ||

He outright never scouts, and makes 2 bunkers to defend against a big number of speedlings. At 8:30 he scans over the high ground to kill an overlord he couldn't have otherwise known had existed in the first place. Multiple other pieces of evidence arise in this replay. Blizz, fucking ban this guy. | ||

Opening is just weird, CC First into Ebay Block and i go 1 Gate FE with SG he has intime Turrets without a Scout Scan and even before oracle appears he builded a 2nd Turret. Also his Army movement was weird too, but like i said could someone who has more expierence watch it? | ||

I watched the replay and there are no camlocks, and nothing really suspicious really going on. The player seems to just have outplayed you. You say "without a Scout Scan" but did you even notice the SCV that he popped into your base after the 5 min mark? I mean, how can you even let that happen. So yes, he saw your SG so he reacted. | ||
