DRG has a 22% chance of beat the 3, and MKP has a 4% chance of taking them down.
That's not too good of odds.

Well lets just say he has a 23% chance to beat the first two and then face MVP who has 67.35% win-rate vs terran while he only has 56%. Don't know those probabilities either. Maybe go out of 200, with ((100-67)+56)/200 which comes out to 89/200 or 0.445.

factor that into alive's chances vs the first 2 and he has 10.23500% chance of taking out the big 3.

I don't think people are considering the best part of IM's situation. They have the three most prestigious player's at their disposal. That should really help foster future talent and champions. It also doesn't hurt that MC is probably the most popular Korean.

What's all the dumbass talk about 'best player in the world' or 'best of each race'?

Seriously, just look at the hype of players during the past 3-6 months; look how many players were hyped to be the 'best in the world', and they've just failed spectacularly.

MMA/MKP as Terran are good, but they have alarming weaknesses in the form of TvP/TvT respectively.

Same goes for people hyping the crap out of PartinG and calling him the best Protoss in the world, then as soon as he loses everyone calls Squirtle the best Protoss in the world... (WAT DA FUQ)

'Best player in the world' is way too overused, and I'd probably give best of each race to the most earned players of each race, since that really is what their career is about at the end of the day.

If this means MC can practice in IM house, then Nestea will have a good practice partner in his ZvP, MC will have a good practice partner in his PvT, and MVP will benefit from MC as well.

If the big 3 can get back to their primes, then I'm sure all the hype with Parting, MKP, DRG, and Squirtle will diminish. Bash them all you want, the fact that these three have 8 (potential 9) GSL titles in total is because they are genuinely good. Of course they may be behind the meta game now but or in a bit of a slump, but we said that about MC and he won IEM WC, we said that about Nestea and he went far in IPL4 and Iron Squid, we said that about MVP and now he is on the GSL finals again.

Yeah, this will be fun to watch. But don't all three kind of suck in team leagues? It would be like similar "Dream Teams" in other sports where for some reason the awesome (ego?) is too strong and they all fall flat.

kind of dissapointing that EG has to partner with slayers. Sounds like were gonna see mostly slayers players with a sprinkle of idra or huk here and there if they get a lead. I rather see a whole foreigner team compete by themselves. couple that and the lack of tastosis... Looks like this will be the third gstl that i dont buy in a row.

I have a feeling the Slayers coaches would rather field some of their inexperienced guys rather than field a foreigner. Just to get their own guys' feet wet in the big stage.
