Seriously, just look at the hype of players during the past 3-6 months; look how many players were hyped to be the 'best in the world', and they've just failed spectacularly. MMA/MKP as Terran are good, but they have alarming weaknesses in the form of TvP/TvT respectively. Same goes for people hyping the crap out of PartinG and calling him the best Protoss in the world, then as soon as he loses everyone calls Squirtle the best Protoss in the world... (WAT DA FUQ) 'Best player in the world' is way too overused, and I'd probably give best of each race to the most earned players of each race, since that really is what their career is about at the end of the day. | ||

If the big 3 can get back to their primes, then I'm sure all the hype with Parting, MKP, DRG, and Squirtle will diminish. Bash them all you want, the fact that these three have 8 (potential 9) GSL titles in total is because they are genuinely good. Of course they may be behind the meta game now but or in a bit of a slump, but we said that about MC and he won IEM WC, we said that about Nestea and he went far in IPL4 and Iron Squid, we said that about MVP and now he is on the GSL finals again. | ||
