I love the format. Innovative yet still simple. And most importantly eliminates the silly long double elimination finals no one had time for.

While I'm really excited for this already... I'm kind of worried about the choice of up and downs. The premier league bottom two play the top two of the challenger league and the winners of that move to the premier league and losers move down... but for the Open -> Challenger there is no up and downs at all and a 50% fallout level. Challenger basically seems like hell.
If the top two from challenger automatically moved up and the bottom two from premier were automatically relegated I feel like the system would be a lot better, Especially depending on the amount of top tier teams involved.

I think that avoiding the up and downs between challenger and premier would also help the up and coming teams that you felt needed more of a spotlight, as they would get a whole "season" in the premier division for doing well in the challenger division instead of just a oneshot up and down.

I don't like that only the bottom 2 of the premier division go down. This will make the changes in the premier division very slow. I could see making the challenger division bigger, and having the top4 of the challenger vs the bottom 4 of the premier. That way I can see more changing the way the premier and challenger division looks withing each season. The way it is right now it just seems very stall for the premier division. Have the 8 premier just advance to top4, and bottom 4 fall into up & downs.

format is kinda similar to european football. i hope there will be no up/down matches, the bottom 2 from premier should relegated to challenger; the top 2 in challenger should be promoted to premier. same thing form amateur and challenger.

The change seems good, but maybe the premier should change more each season.

2 last go directly to the Challenger or maybe the 4 last go to Up&Down.

Why don't they change the iptl to the IGN Pro league like bw pro league and then call the normal IPL the IGN Star league? like osl/msl? So confusing.

I am not really confident that this will work out the way you want to. Haven't we seen that this kind of format failed last year in the gsl? I am also not very happy with the round robin system. I think that a group in which everyone faces everyone shows far better how really deserves to be in the playoffs...

But the idea of the mature league is great!!! :-)

Yes, the names are confusing. Proleagues have always been team leagues, and Starleagues have been always individual leagues.
