I've had some weird results with this MMR tool.

There is a strange dip after a win, not as a result from a promotion, but I seem to be matching up with the same ranked people before and after the dip. Any reason what would cause this?

Hi there! I tried to do the workaround but I somehow don't seem to be able to do it ^^
How do I install 7.5 per hand? I downloaded the .zip and unzipped it but I don't know what to do then?! Also I can not find a file named bnet.data.
Can anyone help? Sorry for being that noob ^^ :D

EDIT: Okay, I'm stupid... - I did it, I marked all my games as bad (I suppose the "in the last 2 days" was refering to when the server went down) and am going to play some more. Hope it works. Thanks a lot!

EDIT2: Somehow I dont get any information. The screen says "need a game with better data" after playing around 20-30 games. Is that normal? Wasn't like this before. Also on top the "post-trigger running" message is flashing constantly as well as the "download new version"-button. Did I do something wrong? I still hear the sound "replay saved" after games, so I guess they are stored correctly. :/ Would be really thankfull for help since I'm getting close to the promotion line and I really get motivated by this tool ^^ Thanks!

I get this same error on his second edit. Post trigger is always running and says "Need a game with better data 0/0". Even with more than 10 games played.

To hard to figure out right now what errors are because of the server-bug and which are just wrong user-settings.
Also it looks like different machines handle the connection different so its hard for me to debug the missing server.
On my installation there are no problems with 7.5 any-more. but it looks like for many its still bugged.

Server should be back up soon.
Wait until then.

I guess it's rather problematic given that, in order to update the software to better handle a loss of server, you need the server to distribute the new software :|

I've followed the instructions to download the version and the new DB, but things seem well broken anyway: my whole graph went down from around 800 MMR to 200 MMR, and all the division colored lines collapsed at 0 MMR.

So when i click on the export data button nothing happens. Does it just do it in the backround without my knowledge or am I just not uploading my data? Would love to contribute as i have like 50 games to give data on!

Also what is all this about a server down? I have had no problems for two weeks now all games have updated info fine

Im getting this error, anyone knows how to fix it?

EDIT: Just figured I have 7.4 and latest version is 7.5, checking if updating fixes it lol..

EDIT2: Updated and downloaded the temporary db file, I still dont know if this error is normal? Gonna play another ladder game to check if I keep getting the same error as before.

Server down so no version check...

@ktimekiller enable autocorrect in the toolbar!
The jumps are obvious calculation mistakes. The correction algorithm should identify them and remove the mistake.

So I know the webserver is down, but hear me out.

I installed everything a few days ago, even when the server was down, and everything was working fine.

Like 4 days ago it stopped working and saying my DB was wrong season, but I didn't change anything.

I uninstalled and reinstalled with the bnet from here, same one as before, and it still isn't working.

Server seems up again and I graph is now fixed, good!

However, I noticed I can't see my old "Archived Data" anymore (that graph is blank) and that I can't either see data from beyond the last 100 games (filtering "All" show the same graph as filtering "Last 100"). Could it be that I deleted old games when I manually installed the v7.5 by replacing existing files? Or should be data still be there and it's justa displaying bug?

I was having this same problem, so I followed the instructions (install 7.5/data) at which time I received "need a game with better data" - after 22 matches. So I deleted the entire sc2 gears folder, re installed sc2gears, the data file per the instructions: AND still not showing any graph as per before with 7 good games played.

I just noticed that Blizzard has changed the way they show bonus pools in web profiles for leagues under master. Earlier the whole master pool was shown also in lower leagues (portion of it was unusable in lower leagues). Now only the usable portion is shown. It is unknown when Blizzard made this change. (mmr tool uses the master league pool for all leagues)

E.g. at ~ 2012-12-26 16:05 CET the max pools according to the web profiles (leagues are not yet locked):

US master +: 711
US diamond-: 412
EU master +: 715
EU diamond-: 414

Aimed league lock times:
US Wednesday, December 26 at 11:59 p.m. PST
EU Thursday, December 27 at 8:59 a.m. CET

The tool tells me there's a new version but when I click it to download the new version, it downloads 7.4, just an FYI.
