Interesting thing that this did happen to WC3 but slowly and koreans had other benefits including double salary (korean pro teams [yes wc3 had those too] and foreign teams) until WC3L forced players to use one tag.

Also to those that complain that's just more koreans on a foreign team, I always thought Liquid aspired to be International, not just foreigner. Having a third of the team (one of each race) from Korea isn't dramatic in any way. Now if you exchange (I'm not being serious) Haypro with a NA terran, you have one of each race for NA, EU and KR servers (based on their origin, not where they're actually playing).

For your example to be accurate, if you were from Madrid, your team would have to acquire only players from Madrid, or you "wouldnt be able to relate to them". Liquid is like the cities in your example, Taeja is one of the players on your team, which is multicultural. You are just being racist. you obviously dont understand anything about real sports, and especially football... Naples doesnt live Napoli because players are from Naples, in fact, their greatest and most glorious times were with Diego Maradona dont comment if you dont understand please, its just flame baiting and getting the crowd to turn on me ![]() edit: also Croatia never had racism ever in its past, so save your western historic complexes for yourself please, i open my arms to all races, and calling someone racist with no reason here is not something people look lightly at

Bitch and complain because youre not satisfied by the nationality of said player. ESPORTS Anyone complaining, should shut their mouth and open their eyes. While they are open, use them to watch the games Zenio and HerO have provided us. You can open your mouth again at this point, as your jaw hits the floor in awe. Now add another player capable of such skill. What the hell do you have to complain about? Why is race or nationality even an issue. It sickens me. Keep up the BOSSSSS recruitment work TL, I am loving the roster. Yes, it's great for TL to have stronger players on their roster. But who brings the next generation of foreign talent forward if not TL? Out of any team, they could have had their pick of foreign players, be they established or talents, and could have brought these players to Korea to give them the best environment possible for them to grow. Instead, TL have chosen to hire three Korean players. You may not see it as a problem. I think it is very shortsighted to use all new resources on Korean players, while the foreign players, to an ever larger degree, gets murdered by their Korean counterparts. TL could help reverse that trend, but as I see it, at the moment they are not. As a sidenote, the roster for the group-stage of the upcoming IPL 4 could very likely consist of 17/20 Koreans. It is very possible that we will see a final day of IPL 4 played out among 8 Koreans. If you do not think that that detracts from the interest in the tournament, I think you're kidding yourself.

So you can only see the blind fanboys that are convinced he's a god because of the color of his t-shirt. A "vocal minority". Taeja however, that guy is a baller. Just got no attention because he's Terran, like half of the GSL. He actually deserves them fanboys he will get now. Excuse my bias, but Zenio has hit Code S 8 times. What would he have to do to put him above average?

I'd undestand more if this was like soccer where it was more country vs country, but people always make it koreans vs "foreigners" and foreigners usually are europeans or people from NA. yes, i didnt make those rules, i even consider chinese players foreigners for some reason and cheer for them against koreans. i cant explain it. blame artosis. that is not racist, just sports O.O
