You're delusional to think that those mainstream sports haven't changed at all since then. SC2 is just the new look of an old game. go look at a picture of baseball 100 years ago and tell me it looks the same now. How is it a new look of an old game when it's missing all the crucial aspects? ...

I don't doubt about MKP practice time, just see the difference of level between him and the top on BW. Fu too btw. User was warned for this post

At least viewers will be able to directly compare how exciting they find each game.

I don't follow the BW scene so I have no idea if new names are still emerging and keeping the competition alive. So-So. There are always new names coming up, but the top players are so good that hardly anyone can put up a fight against them. ForGG proved that coming from BW does not necessarily mean you are good at SCII but I believe that players like Flash will shine at SCII as well.

MKP doesn't practice as hard as people think, but he does practice a lot, just not as much as many players his level or even lower than him. A lot of it has to do with his style and how he practices. Also being a former BW pro is a big factor.

I realy hope the bold part here can happend, but I don't want BW to die, it is so entertaining to wach the insane skills of the BW players ![]()

Like 95% of top Korean SC2 players have a BW background.

Or actually out of the box. I remember a few debates I had on another forum in the Beta stages of SC2 with people that were levelling against SC2 for having archaic graphics compared to RTS games released two years before. It's possible to have 'old' graphics that are aesthetically pleasing and still have good gameplay. The argument applies not only to BW, but to SC2 itself which I assume Nor et al are arguing. You cannot build a scene when the lifespan of a game is 2 years when the next new graphics game comes rendering the old obsolete.
