If you're walking into the airport an hour before your plane leaves, you're fucking crazy. Unless you live in some random east bumblefuck place with one plane, where you're guaranteed no luggage or check-in lines... and as someone who lives in the busy NJ/ NY area of America (e.g. Newark airport), I have no experience with that. We leave hours and hours ahead of time, because we understand that sometimes you get screwed over simply by virtue of large numbers of people. Sucks for Select though | ||

Omg it feels like hearing every girls of my life. 30 min. before departure is just fine. 1 hour at most for long distance flight / big airports... You clearly have never traveled in any airport in America. if you arrive at the gate with 30 minutes and try to check in they won't even let you. with 1 hour you might be able to check in but there is a good chance you won't get through security on time. For international flights the rule is 2 hours minimum. I used to work at an international airport for a major airline and I can assure you that 30 minutes is not enough. | ||
