Server: NA Race: Terran League: Silver What you are hoping to achieve: My first goal is to figure out how to get past this anxiety issue anytime i try to play on ladder. Once i'm able to ladder confidently my main goal is to get into diamond, and if i have the skill, then get into masters. Time you're free to learn: My time varies but i'm on most the time. If i was to find someone to coach me i could set up a time around their schedule. Brief description about you: I am somewhat a new PC gamer. Tried alot of FPS and some RPG's. After a friend introduced me to this game i have been hooked ever since. I cant stop watching VoD's and i would be playing alot more if i had more people to practice with. The first RTS i ever played was C&C on the xbox and i enjoyed it. So basically i'm new to RTS's but i feel like i've been doing very well and i have the determination to get better. I do have skype so hit me up for some SCII =) | ||

I usually have nothing to do on Tuesdays-Thursday and other times. Would preferably like to be able to work out a schedule if possible. What you are hoping to achieve: I would like to be able to play the game and understand what I am seeing and translate that in to good to decent game play. Right now I feel like every game I play I struggle. I really wanted to try to learn on my own because I hate asking for help or bothering other people. I wanted to make this as a "last resort" if I couldn't do it myself, so here I am. What I'm experiencing in games are match up problems and not really understanding what I should be doing or how to defend myself. I do understand in lower leagues that you can never really "use strategy" because people do not know what they're doing themselves. My problems are I try to use build orders and I'm not 100% sure what to build and what are my priorities. When should I should stop building SCV's or Marines during build orders. Same for upgrades. Sometimes I either rush them to fast or I forget to even do them. I also have a problem with defending my expansions or harassing another player expansion. I watch a lot of streams like Dragon, DeMuslim, and anyone else that is listed as Terran currently streaming. I also watch Day9 and Husky videos as well. I have read/watched "Bronze to Master" guide that Filter made and also both tutorials Apollo made. They helped my macro a lot because I usually only had 32 SCV's by the ten minute mark. Now I can get 50 as long as I'm not getting harassed. Then I lose focus and I try to macro during engagements. I do sometimes let it slip. My go to build that I have down pretty well is 1 Barrack FE to M/M/M. The one that filter shows in his Bronze to Master VOD's. I also watch my replays and I see what I did wrong, but I do not know how to correct it. Like example I can give is I was playing TvZ and a zerg one base Baneling/Zerg bust me. I had 2 bunkers and a few supply demos. I lost my expand and main base. It looks like I didn't have enough forces or supply depos. I just not sure how to correct this when I was keeping my macro up and getting a wall up with bunkers. So, that's my goal. To tighten up my game and not feel lost while playing. I am not going to say an arbitrary league I would like to be in. My goal is just to understand the game and not feel like my lack of knowledge is what is holding me back. I know there is no way to fully understand the game because it's always changing. Time you're free to learn: I am free anytime after 4pm EST on weekdays. Weekends I'm free at anytime. Brief description about you: My name is Kyle and I am 26. I live in the U.S. I play a variety of games like CS:GO, SSF4 AE 2012, Mass Effect, etc. SC2 is my first RTS. I really love starcraft and am trying really hard to get better, maybe so I can enter some tournaments here and there. I don't want to pay the crazy prices required for some of the top players that charge $50+/hr, but I would absolutely be willing to pay a smaller fee for a not-as-famous GM coach who loves the game and loves to teach! | ||

As a league type goal, hopefully at least gold, but I would like to work towards more of a long term goal of diamond or masters. Time you're free to learn: Late at night Pacific time (PST) around like 6 pm to 11 30pm and weekends Brief description about you: I've been stuck in the bronze/silver for most of my starcraft 2 career and would like to advance to a higher caliber of play to keep up with my friends. I have some basic knowledge of strategies, which may or may not be outdated now, and decent macro. However my downfall lies with my atrocious micro and inability to multitask at a decent level. With HoTS coming up I would really like to start taking starcraft really seriously, and a coach that is familiar with both WoL and HoTS would be amazing. Preferably I would like to have a coach that works with me on a weekly or semi weekly basis and consistently provides me with new things to work on. | ||
